Any suggestions on how to ship a scope?
johnnychimpo replied to ehull20000's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
My local UPS store wouldn't allow anything firearm related (including optics) to be shipped there. Informed me I'd need to ship them from a UPS hub. Could've shipped without letting them know what was inside but then I couldn't insure the item. Could just be my local store's policy idk. -
Not just you. Try it now.

'57 Gillette flare tip '62 Gillette Slim adjustable set on 7 (my favorite so far) Merkur Futur set on 3 (this thing is heavy and can be adjusted to be very aggressive, the head is a little bigger so it takes a little finesse close under the nose) I like this one alot. Worth the $$$ to me. Feather blades inexpensive Escali badger brush Proraso Green shave soap then cold water to rinse my face. Alum bar gets rubbed across shaved areas then Proraso Green aftershave is applied. First pass is always with the grain,Second is across the grain. And once a week I'll go against the grain. I shave every other day. I found everything I have on Amazon except for the Gillette's and got them on Ebay. I tried the Korean Dorco 301's but they were horrible for me. Egyptian Crown's were a little better. Shark were on par w the Crown's. Been looking to try the Gillette Silver & US Personna's . So far Feather has given me the best results.

I use these to mount a light to the FSB but now they offer a QD socket on them. And of course they're out of stock.

Farm Bureau here. No complaints yet but this has got me thinking about checking prices elsewhere. -
7.62x39 krinkov vs 5.45x39 krinkov
johnnychimpo replied to a topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
The M92. 7.62x39 ammo & mags will always be easier to find than the same in 5.45 and does a better job at their effective range. Big hammer vs little hammer. -
Murfreesboro Police gun buyback this Saturday
johnnychimpo replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The weapons will be checked by serial number for a stolen report. Stolen guns that are recovered will be returned to their owners unless it is illegal to do so. Those turned in will be listed in an order submitted to a court asking them to be awarded to the agency. These can be bid on by licensed and qualified law enforcement firearms dealers. They can be traded to the dealer for ammunition, body armor or toward other weapons to be used by the agency. This is also the process for weapons used in crimes that are confiscated by a law enforcement agency. The only time weapons may be destroyed is by obtaining a court order, when they are inoperable or are unsafe and have been certified as so in an affidavit to the court by the Chief of Police, Sheriff or Drug Task Force director ,etc. -
