  1.   Likewise, thanks everyone!
  2.   Not that I am aware of.  It's a @bellsouth.net address. I asked him while ago to check his spam/junk filter.  Waiting on a response.
  3.   He is telling me that he has registered many times but the email never arrives.
  4. Appreciate it.  I will ask him to go back and check his email for a confirmation in case he missed it and will check back here later to see if you found out anything else.  Thanks again!
  5. A friend of mine that I told TGO about recently joined and can no longer login.  His user name is Up2snuff.  Is there a password reset option for him?   Thanks!
  6. UPDATE:  There are two open spots remaining. The cost is $635 for 2800 acres with 28 members.  Send a PM if interested.
  7. Buddy of mine is swinging by EW around lunch time to check it out and I'll have an update for us then.
  8. Here are a few good ones from my trail camera this past season:
  9. Good riddance.  I'm sure BSNBC will welcome him with open arms.
  10.   Must have been from the Antique Show going on.
  11. Welcome to the forum!  TN is a great place as is the Middle Tennessee area.
  12. I picked up a waterproof friction (composite) call at the show and my buddy picked up a waterproof box call (one handed use with a rubber band attachment) and also a Ghost Blind.  After all the rain last turkey season I am ready to put it to use. Good show this year.  Not as much flea market stuff as last year and smoother process of getting in.  Didn't have to wait in a super long line.
  13.   I was there on Thursday night and there was no 9mm.  Lots of .40S&W 100 round bulk packs, .45 ACP, 38 Special and 223.  Even some 357 Sig.  I haven't seen 9mm there in a long time.
  14.   No problem!  Thanks Dave.  No bites yet.  Will give it a little more time.  The last thing i want to do is put an ad on Craigslist.
  15. I am looking to sponsor a few TGO members that are of high character (respectful, responsible, ethical, and safe) on a hunting lease in Hickman County if anyone is interested for the 2014 season.  We currently have 1355 acres and if we fill our current 14-15 membership we will look to add another 1400 acres that we have an option on and add a few more members.  The cost is $600 due by April 1st.  It's a bargain.  I have been hunting there the past 2 years and would be happy to share some trail cam pictures and info.  Also looking for someone to scout and hunt the property with.  One of my close hunting buddies had to have some major back/neck surgery and unable to renew this year.  This lease does require a 4 wheeler.  It can be done without a 4 wheeler but would make it very tough. The new lease begins on 6/1 but if anyone wants to just check it out we can go out during turkey season and I can show you around.  We have a very large area that has room for campers and tents.  The current membership is a lot of good guys that help each other out and that is what we are looking for more of.  It's off Highway 100 a few miles shy of Lyles, TN.  Takes about 1.5 hours to get there from Nashville.  Please send me an private message if interested and if I've posted this in the wrong area please let me know.
  16.   Likewise, there was a waterproof slate turkey call that I should have bought last year that I will be looking for again this year.
  17. I am going on Saturday if the NWTF would hurry up and send me my new membership card so that I can get in.  I renewed it back mid December.  Called them two weeks ago and got some excuses and that I should have it soon so that I can show it to them to get into the show with no charge.  I did already receive the free $25 Bass Pro gift card a week after I renewed my membership.
  18. There is a large sand pit range off 100 near Lyles but it's actually part of a private lease that I am on but locals tend to use it also.
  19. So wouldn't it technically be more of a "hoarding" that is going on than a  "shortage" if 4.2 Billions rounds are being produced annually?  i wonder what annual production numbers were previous years.
  20. Thinking about another Glock also.  Currently have a 17, 22 and 26.  Want to stay in the same ammo range of 9mm and 40.  Seems like either a G23 or G27 would make the most sense.  Probably more the G27.  I would then have the subcompact and full size frame of both the 9mm and 40.  Thought about the G36 but that's the last thing that I want to do is start on a new caliber.
  21. I blame the weather.  I did see my fair share of deer in Tennessee this year (not until end of season) but didn't take shots at any of them.  I am on a QDMA hunting lease and none of the deer were large/old enough to shoot.  On the flip side I do certainly agree with the statement about "White Tail populations in MD, Northern Virginia and parts of West Virginia today have exploded".  I hunt in West Virginia every year on a family farm and hunted two days during the week of Thanksgiving.  Day 1 I saw 8 deer and day two I saw 9 deer.  Since I had my pick on what I wanted I held out until I saw the right one and took the biggest due I've ever seen.  Farms does are huge compared to others.  She must have been at least 150lbs and after processing my freezer is beyond full so I wasn't too upset about not shooting anything back in Tennessee this season so I'm sure I helped contribute to the lack of harvest in the state this year.
  22. Been once before to the Murfreesboro RK show and going again tomorrow.  It sure beats a Bill Goodman show.
