I have hit the back button twice in this new layout to back out of any forum. Kind of a irritation.

My Dad bought a P89DC in 91 or 92. I've had it for years. It runs like a scalded cat. Feeds all ammos and always fires. It is my HD and SHTF pistol. I trust it entirely. Shoot and clean is all i have ever had to do with it. If the DA trigger wasn't so long it would be perfect. With that said, the long DA trigger makes it a bit safer.

It depends on what type of finish. I have a brushed polish. So i used a little CLP with a scotch brite pad. Looks perfect. If he has smooth finish and wants the gun to look perfectly consistant, he can strip it and buff the entire side to a nice even finish. It doesn't take much and is easy to do. I would use a cotton cloth for this with some non abbrasive buffing cream. I he has a custom high refletive finish, i would leave it until the entire gun needs a re-finish. Then send it off for a pro finish.

85 degrees vs near 100. yes sept is hot, but not nearly as bad as mid July.

I think Como was the one of a few places that the organizer to find to handle this shoot. Maybe because of cost, range distance, etc. I dont think he picked Como because of its tourism. I dont think he skipped Memphis to bash it. If he could have found a facility in Memphis that fit his requirement he may has used that facililty. I don't think i have ever seen the OP bash Memphis. Como was just the facility he selected. Besides, where exactly in Memphis has a 300 yard range to accomadate several maybe dozens of shooters? Lets get back on topic. Look up http://www.appleseedinfo.org/ The event looks fun to me. It may be to hot in July but there is a Sept appleeseed.

This is a Germantown Member letting us know there is a shoot in our area. Don't make anything else out of it than that. I don't see anything wrong with a fellow TGOer wanting to get some of us involved in his activity.

What time of day are you hunting; morning or evening? I went out yesterday morning. I didn't see any. There were rabbits everywhere, so i used a K&H cottontail distress call.

I wished. I only have permission to yote hunt on this land. I have to be off of it by Aug 1. The deer looks young to. If they don't get him this year, he will be a monster.

I was coyote hunting this morning and a very nice velvet buck came out grazing.

edit: i'll be there. The 2 for 1 class promotion is a good deal. It doesn't apply for upper tactical classes , or i would be all over it. If you have't had the intermediate class this would be a good time to take it.

When patterning it, i can shoot it 3 times before the skin is visible and badly bruised. lol. If i use it again i will get a limb saver butt plate. I stopped patterning it with turkey loads to save my shoulder.

I use a New England Pardner single shot 3 1/2, full choke. All camo. I've had it since the mid 90's. It is very light, so shooting the 3 1/2 mags hurts. I don't like shooting it to often with turkey loads.

i am sorry, 25% is crap. especially with a conditional proceed. I will not shop at a gun shop that has that policy. PERIOD. Edit: i know some gun shops post that policy but only enforce it when someone is abusing it.

I to will vote for Ramsey in the primary and will vote Republican in the General. I can not stomach another Dem running this state. I see many will not vote for Haslam in the General. Why not? Is it worth having another true lib or left dem in office? I am not wanting to argue. I just want to know why Haslam is so bad.

$10 is reasonable. Even a little more to cover the time of the employee, but 25% is crazy. The fella in the last post needs to get his old charges expunged. That will solve it. An attorney and a few hundred bucks would be worth it to get it removed.
