My Marling Model 60 is 30 years old and looks it. But it is a squirrel assassin. If you want out of the box accurate under $200 get the Marlin. If you like to tinker and customize Ruger 10/22. If you want accuracy and tube fed is ok with you the older mod 60's have a 22 inch barrel.

then ban alcohol where guns are allowed.

The employees working at non posted businesses has the right to seek employment at another business. No one is being denied safety or the right to work. There will be plenty of businesses that will be posted. The employees can work there. They are more likely to be robbed or assaulted going to or from their employment by criminals than harassed by permit carries in a business. it depends if they can get in front of a friendly lib judge.

I see a lot of places with high restocking fees. I understand why they do it. They want to use this as a way of scaring off people that know they cant buy and wasting the stores time. But... The TICS system is far from perfect. Many denials are mistakes. A store should not use the faults of the system to make a 25% pure profit at the expense of a victim of the faulty check system. Especially on a Conditional Proceed. Charge a small fee for the time it takes for a store employee run the TICS. 25% is excessive in most cases. I ask stores for their denial policy before i ever start the process. I have been denied due to a mistake and it cost me $60. It took more than 30 days to clear it up. Total BS. both the store and TICS were wrong.

AOW, i hope he has a stamp after advertising on youtube. very cool tho. edit: that is a good point. Where is the equal and opposite,(Newtons 3rd Law). The kick doesnt seem to equal the power to shatter that mug. I could be over analyzing.

This. Trying that would be a huge mistake. It will never be ratified as a treaty, but they could try to pass it as an international "agreement". Like NAFTA. Agreements don't need 2/3's to pass. I think they will just tax ammo and guns so high that we wont be able to afford guns and ammo. We will give them up or hide them. Either way the libs win. Guns off the streets. They cant win the 2ndA war, but the congress has the right to tax anything they want to.

That is the first i have heard of denial based on non-felony/non dom violence charges. Total BS. Sounds like the NRA needs to hop on this crap. Some bureaucrat just decides to deny legal citizens of their 2ndA rights. What is next? We cant buy guns because we had a speeding ticket. I would never buy from a shop that has a 25% restocking fee. The last 2 shops i bought from didnt ask for any money until after TICS replied proceed. how did our legislature let that pass. OMG. were they asleep?

There was a Beretta Storm at a local gunshow for $525. If i had the cash i would have bought it. That was a steel. The prices are coming down. It is a very nice HD, plinker carbine. I don't like the built in sight towers. If it had a full rail for other sights i would be more interested. The hipoint is ok. accurate, fun and reliable. But i sold mine, because it is a single stack with no quality hi cap mags available. difficult to clean and no real aftermarket for parts. I would save up and get the Beretta. The hipoint is a limited plinker only.

I would like to see a carbine. But the pistol is very interesting.

this. Even if you have to take it to your local smith it would be worth it.

I drove past one standing in a field about 50 yards out a few weeks ago. It was just standing watching us. I was going to jump out with my PPS 9mm, but my wife told me to keep driving. lol.

TN Handgun Carry Permit Schools and Instructors

+1 for Range USA. Chip is a very good and he is a hoot. I have taken several of his classes. I can't recommend him enough. -
If approached by a LEO at your home, 1. aks if you are the target of his inquiry, 2. ask for his card, 3. tell him your lawyer will respond, 4. thank him for his service. Do not invite him in and say nothing else. I trust most LEOs, but i too have been the victim of a total jack a##. I will never speak to an officer again without a lawyer. It turned out to be nothing, but this jerk was trying to show the size of his balls. I have instructed my family to do the same, unless they are in danger. Unmarked car: if it has lights, i will pull over. If he gets out in T shirt and shorts, i will ask for more proof from a distance.

Federal Court Rules Open Carrying Disorderly
gotigers replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
By that ruling the judge gave, if i saw a young man walking with a baseball bat,i should call the law. He might be doing something illegal with it. A bat can be considered a weapon. Oops, the kid was walking to a baseball game. My bad. The judge is making a legal act punishable. Total BS. -

Browning Buckmark Camper. Accurate, not to expensive, easier to disassemble than other .22's, lots of after market accessories. I researched for months. IMHO the buckmark is perfect. The walther has issues. Ruger MK i, ii, iii or 22/45 are fine, but a PITA to disassemble. S&W and Beretta are ok, but they dont have a lot of aftermarket accessories.

I would love to be there, but i will be on vacation. Have fun guys.
