I may have to give up my man card but this is a delicious drink. Mix one shot Jim Beam, one shot Johnny Walker Red (or your favorite scotch) and about 10ozs of Fresca. It is a very light and refreshing drink. Kinda tastes like a Lynchburg Lemonade.

I am going on a sandhill crane hunt in a couple of months. This will be my first time shooting steel shot. Does anybody have any experience with steel shot chokes and if so what brands do you like?

I have been hearing some decent reports on numbers of birds killed. I am guessing not a lot people went.

Here is my report. I suck at shooting doves. They were flying really good this afternoon. One side of our field sounded like a war zone. I was on the slow side of the field but still had plenty of opportunities. at least my nephew limited out.

So when are we going hunting. Awesome buck. Hope you get him.
