+1 to the Badger rings and base. They are the best out there IMO. But I think you posted in another thread that you wanted to keep your scope under $300, so I doubt you will want to pay $200+ for your rings and base.

Keep them in your safe. If someone comes in and you want to show them go get it out. Most of the time it is not your friends and family that you have to worry about. It is the people they tell about your gun collection.

To the guys who are "against" the bikers, how often do you get held up by people riding in the road? I have been driving since I was 16 and have never been held up for more than 10-20 seconds. I really don't see what the big deal is? If having to wait a few seconds to pass someone on a bike is the worst thing that happens to me that day, I am doing pretty good.

I've shot the 4" lightweight Operator. It was very accurate and reliable. For the most part you can buy a Springfield 1911 without much worry.

Get glasses or laser eye surgery? Not that big a deal.
