Im kinda in the same boat you are. I am in college but in a major that is not very work friendly at the moment. I think that medical or law enforcement is the way to go. No matter what the economy is people are always going to be sick and are always going to need police. You can go to a community college and get your RN and find a job pretty easy and make pretty good money. Then get your foot in the door and get some further education or a specialized field and then make the big bucks. Or if you got the LE path pay for yourself to get certified and the get hired on to a department. If you are already certified then you become more attractive to a department because they dont have to pay to train you. Just my .02. -Jason G

My brother was there in the pits, his best friend works on the pit crew of a "big name" drivers team. He has told us many times that 99% of the other drivers and crews hate Kyle. +1 I think you will be alot better off getting a .22 kit if you want to shoot for less money. Plus I think you will save yourself a lot of headaches. Mags are a pain in the butt to find and some run and some dont. And 7.62 ammo is running right there with 5.56 as far as price. I would stay with .22, 5.56/.223, 6.8, and 9mm in the AR platform. -Jason G

I played with one at Knob Creek, seems to be a nice gun. I have heard that they havent got all the kinks worked out of them yet, and some guns are not running. If any of you are really intrested in getting one I can put you in contact with a dealer that has them in stock. -Jason G

As far as guns that were "converted" back to semi auto, thats gonna be a no go unless you buy a military kit and build it on a semi receiver. In ATF's eyes once a machine gun always a machine gun until the receiver is cut into three pieces. Im intrested in your collection of military issued and used guns, care to share any details? -Jason G

Ive been looking for the Federal bulk pack .22 for months now and havent came across any yet. I hit the Springfield, White House, and Rivergate and havent been lucky. I have seen quite a bit of .40, and a little 9mm. -Jason G

If ATF comes to my house then I will go get whatever NFA item they want. They will NOT come into my house unless they have a warrant. To my knowledge the only people that can ask to see your NFA stuff is 1) ATF, 2) Tax Enforcement Agent because it is a tax paid stamp. As others have stated you just pay to transfer the NFA item from either a dealer to an individual or individual to individual. As to why would I go through the trouble, well for some of us an "AR15" isnt good enough. We want the real thing. Others it is an investment, NFA has done a hell of a lot better than the stock market since 1986. Plus machine guns are just like land, they arnt making any more of them, at least for civilians. Other guys collect historical pieces like Thompsons, BAR's, Lewis Guns, Bren's, Stens, 1919a4's. Some of these guns WERE used in WWI and WWII, Korea, and Vietnam and they just happen to fall under NFA laws. I guess I could ask you why do you want to pay $1500+ for a Sig 556?
