  1. That's a beauty. I love those scales!
  2. They're at Blade every year. They do the Hog induction ceremony at their Saturday night dinner. I can send you info if you're interested.
  3. Niiice! Skunk is really quick with the shipping isn't he? Glad you like it.
  4. Beauty Steve, love the translucent green. Did you request S35VN or has Rick switched over for all of his blades?

Man, I've seen you work Bill's Outpost into about a half a dozen posts here in the last few minutes. Did you get a job there, lol?
  6. Love that color combo Steve. You're gonna love the knife!
  7. You should see the one that showed up today...
  8. What he said, although I personally prefer the 350 over the 200. Better steel IMO and I like the spring assisted opening.
  9. Finally got mine from Chestnut Ridge today, it's a really well made knife, but just not for me. I've got a Zero Tolerance that already fits the same role really nicely. The HEST will probably be on the classifieds soon.
  10. I've bought a few red dots from Primary Arms and have had nothing but good dealings with them. Good people, good company.
  11. Looks like a fine knife, but that word China on it is a deal breaker for me. They own enough of our crap already, I'm not going to give them a penny more than I have to.
  12. Nice one Gary. I carry a 350 daily and love it.
  13. What Knoxville gun store could you possibly be talking about? I will not even step foot in their store, even though they're less than 5 miles from my house.
  14. In a word, yes. Fusion is run by Bob Serva, who used to be the president of Dan Wesson. His kits and guns are very highly regarded. As a disclaimer, I don't own one. I base my opinion on my research and the opinions of other 1911 owners. They have a whole subforum on one of the 1911 forums. Check them out.
  15. +100. A Fusion 10mm kit is on my wish list.
  16. I'm interested in #16 and would like to see some pictures. PM sent. Thanks.
  17. You should look into Benefactor status here. TGO is a great place to sell firearms.
  18. I'm a fan of the liner lock. The one time I've seriously cut myself trying to close a knife (index finger down to the bone) was with a traditional lockback. The liner lock is also much easier IMHO to close one-handed.
  19. I've got a knife problem. They are more addictive than guns (to me at least). Busse Combat knives are my favorites. They are built like a tank and shaving sharp, with great edge retention. Here are a couple. The top one is a SAR-6 with black and green G-10 scales and the bottom one is a Bushwhacker Mistress with black canvas micarta scales. For reference, the SAR-6 is 12.5 inches overall.
  20. I picked up this Les Baer in a trade from the TGO classifieds a couple of weeks ago. It had obviously been carried and shot a lot, but it was still tight. Since the finish was in rough shape I decided to take it to Predator Custom to see what they could do with it. I gave it to Jim on Wednesday afternoon and ordered the VZ grips on Wednesday night. I expected to be without it for a couple of weeks. Instead, I got a call on Friday saying the pistol was ready and the grips arrived in the mail today. I'm pretty damned pleased with it. What say you, TGO'ers?
  21. Very, very nice Steve. That stag insert is gorgeous.
  22. Between the blade thickness and the jimping and mini-choil for grip I'd think this would be a great head-stabber.
  23. I'm eyeballing an Ed Brown Executive Elite Centennial Edition. I'm only $2500 short in my gun fund right now.
