  1. Looks interesting. I'd like to see your review when you get it.
  2. Congrats. Blackjack makes a good knife.
  3. The Ashley Book of Knots, a Zombie Squad t-shirt and a ridiculously beautiful Chris Reeve Large Sebenza (knife).
  4. Silicone impregnated knife roll from Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Holds quite a few and isn't too bulky to fit in the gun safe.
  5. Interesting serrations. Look like they'd really tear.
  6. For around $100 (actually about $110 at Amazon or $120 at Blade HQ) I would buy a Zero Tolerance 0350. S30V steel, American made, built like a tank. It's about 10% smaller than the 0300. I own the 0300 and find it too big for EDC. I think the 0350 would be perfect. Zero Tolerance 0350 Assisted Folder Knife (Black PLN) - Blade HQ
  7. I have a Boker ceramic blade folder that I bought at the factory in Solingen, Germany. It is ridiculously sharp and very cool looking. The downside to ceramic blades is that they cannot be used to pry or have much torsional force applied to them or the blade will snap. Just my personal opinion, but I wouldn't want one for an EDC knife.
  8. I'm not sure about the show but Aim Surplus has Nagant revolvers for $95 right now.
  9. Love, love, love my Glock 20. Looking for a Dan Wesson 10mm as we speak...
  10. Another nice one Steve. Hoping Santa will bring me a Sebenza this year. Then I'll start working on the Hinderer...
  11. I've really enjoyed mine so far Mav. I'm also pretty pumped about the new 550 they have coming out. It's a collaboration with Rick Hinderer.
  12. Hey Dan, I use the same handle over there, I just don't post very often.
  13. I really enjoyed the Bourne books. You should also give World War Z by Max Brooks (son of Mel) a try. It's a good read and is supposedly being made into a movie.
  14. Awesome. I love a company with a sense of humor.
  15. Someone mentioned the Field and Stream recommended kit. Here's a link to the article they did on the kit from a couple of years ago. It's pretty good stuff. Make a Survival Kit out of an Altoids Tin | Field & Stream
  16. It is a little large for EDC although I have carried it once or twice. I think for me it will be better suited for hiking where I can throw it in a daypack or as a backup knife when camping.
  17. Hey Steve, Thanks for the info. Too bad about them being made in China. That's unfortunately a deal breaker for me. I'll look into Southern Security.
  18. I'm guessing by his profile info that he's been banned or sent on vacation. Can someone PM me with an email address where I can contact him?
  19. theepicenter.com has Mountain House #10 cans on sale right now for 20% off with free shipping. I have not bought from them before today but they have a good reputation from what I was able to find on the interwebs.
  20. Anyone have any experience with Winchester safes, particularly the Supreme 53? Supreme Series | Winchester
  21. Hey Grays, Have you tried your Sharpmaker yet? I got one recently but haven't had the time to watch the video yet.
  22. I looked at the 70 online but was worried it would be too small. Is it comfortable sizewise?
  23. Nice one. I'm a big fan of Kershaw. Great quality for the price. My out of uniform EDC is a Kershaw Blur.
