  1. Does it come with flush mount mags, or just the extended ones? I'd like the option to go as small as possible
  2. buy Unique for pistol powder. They call it unique for a reason, its one of the most universal powders. once you load some, you can experiment with different powders and bullets. I use Winchester primers, but thats just because DLM (david) recommended them. Im sure CCI is just fine.
  3. One of the Greats!! Now he's layin down those back beats in heaven.
  4. I'll update once I get the press mounted and figure out my shelving situation.
  5. Awesome! Been wanting one for years! Thanks
  6. Thanks man, couldn't have done it without your help.
  7. Yeah sorry, I use a Verizon iPhone. With an iPhone it's easy. Just hold the top button and push the home button once.
  8. No it hosts them on tapatalk.com. So your still hosting the pic on a third party, but it skips the middle man. When you reply to a post there is a picture tab at the bottom. You can touch it and your phone pic album pulls up
  9. Man I really appreciate the offer. Pfries came over today and installed a new GFCI breaker and ran 3 outlets for me. This was for my house in Johnson City anyways. But know that I really appreciate the offer to help.
  10. I think it has more finish look. You can see the first couple lines of the last post under the thread title, as well as the name and avatar of that poster. It gives you a 'participated' tab that shows all threads you have posted in, with most recent updates at the top(I know mobile version is similar, but tapatalk is better) I can upload pictures from my phone straight to thread without hosting on a web first. I used it for a while and I don't like to change
  11. I put a coat of Danish Oil on it today. Natural finish. Looks good
  12. Well thanks to Pfries I have 3 new outlets run to a brand new GFCI 20amp breaker. I couldn't have done it without him, and now I don't have to use power strips to run multiple applications. Everything is run to code and nice and neat. Thanks again Pfries I owe you one!!
  13. I'm in Johnson City. I'd love help but only if your free. I'm getting wire and box right now. Id like to get this done by tomorrow so that'd be good if you can.
  14. Well the two overhead wires are a 12-3 and a 12-2. These run the lights in the basement. The 3 wire is obviously the run between the switches, but I can't tell if the 2 wire is from the breaker or outgoing to the light sockets. If I turn the switch off and the 2 wire is still got can I assume that's coming in from the breaker? With all that said I'm gonna just grab the hot wire in the switch box. There are 2 black(hot) wires nutted together. These are hot all the time regardless of switch position. There are also 3 neutrals wire nutted together. Can I add a 4th neutral there? Also can I just ground on the bare copper running to the switch?
  15. Thanks. I know some don't like tapatalk but it's my lifeline to TGO. I appreciate you reinstalling the support.
  16. And still we digress. back to your regularly scheduled program.
  17. We all understand that. Obviously you're assuming the gun was dropped in a vaccum with no outside influence. I don't see what that has to do with anything. If dropping a gun is considered training, I'm all trained up, I dropped one on Monday.
  18. Your making assumptions that it was dropped freely. When fumbled from a shooting grip it will fall most often either muzzle down or grip down due to your fingered influencing the fall. Plus if it did drop freely the grip would hit first because it's closer to the ground. The point still remains that dropping a gun could muzzle your neighbor.
  19. Ohhh no you diint
  20. I just listened to the largess part of the press conference by the special prosecutor. I can tell you this, she is insuring that every one of Zimmermans constitutional rights are upheld through this process. The journalists repeatedly asked for her to comment on evidence and they(media) obviously have him in prison for life already. There were at least 2 seperates questions of where he was jailed, which she adamantly refused to answer. I personally was sickened by the medias blatantly loaded questions, but he refused them all, admirably. An of course she has him convicted already, she's the prosecutor. He has to believe beyond a reasonable doubt that he can be convicted. That doesn't mean that a justifiable defense won't come up. She stated that explicitly.
  21. I carry a 1911 TRP it's not a safe queen and it does have finish wear, but of you told me to drop it intentionally I would tell you to go suck an egg. If in a fighting situation I dropped it, fine, if a cop told me to drop it fine, it's just a tool but I find that kind of 'advanced prep' unnecessary. If I need to train retrieving the gun with my weak hand, why can't I just lay it on the ground? I think this sounds like a good course with this one little exception. And thanks JohnnyFox for the review.
  22. Be sure to post the results and how you like their service. This is the first I've heard of them.
  23. Also is there a way to jump to the last page on a thread that you have not participated in?
  24. Since the shutdown of tapatalk I've been using the mobile skin. I have experienced a couple issues. 1) I keep getting "loading" screens that don't go away regardless of how long I wait. And if I read a thread and go back sometimes I get a second popup. 2) randomly I lose the option to 'go to full site' at the bottom of the screen. If I go clear my cookies , it will come back but I also lose all my stored login info for other sites. Before cleared cache After Any thoughts?
