  1. A firearm without a round in ready to go is no good. Get some more training and range time. Become real familiar with your weapon and eventually things go into muscle memory. Practice, Practice, and more practice. Your trying to minimize the perception and reaction time during a deadly force encounter. When you add making a weapon hot especially for a newer person carrying you would be surprised how much time your adding. But don't rush anything do what makes you comfortable just keep working on it and you will get where you want to be.
  2. About time you retired you old fart! Your place in Florida will be the new vacation spot.
  3. I thought of this flash mob.
  4. I'm sure there is more to this story. Always leery when there is only a brief video not showing the whole story.
  5. I could be wrong on the parking lot posting but I'll check today.
  6. It's a different world up there. Here if you open carry you may get my attention and I might ask for your permit to ensure it's valid. Typically I already have too much crap going on to check every open carry person. I've only run into one person who's permit wasn't valid and he wasn't even open carrying. OC isn't close to top of my list to worry about.
  7. Just remember the class is a bare minimum to get your HCP. I suggest more training and many hours at the range. Do draw strokes and weapon failure drills until your fingers bleed lol.
  8. If it's part of the university it is illegal to carry.
  9. Murfreesboro PD has Barretts Ronnie donated them.
  10. Mall is posted at every entrance and I could of swore I saw signs at the beginning of the lots by the access roads. With Opry Mills out Rivergate is doing decent business. I hope it stays that way keeps us in extra jobs.
  11. You all have heard MW3 will have some services on multiplayer that are pay to play. Not that the freaking trillion dollars they make the first day of sales is enough. I play all games' single player mode first. I've started getting back on COD 4 because I'm getting tired of Black ops and all the lameness.
  12. If you had his personal information you could obtain a harassment warrant. Realistically if you don't have a person personal info such as name, DOB, address, and basic physical description you probably won't be able to get a warrant. Now you can still document it by a report if you don't have all that information and later get a warrant if needed and when you get his personal information. You got an uncle that's a local LEO just chew his ear about it. He will know the local routine there and tell you what you need to do.
  13. Gotta love the cop haters.
  14. Get a trickle charger for the winter might spare you getting new batteries next summer.
  15. Maybe I'm just tired but where in there did say anything about use of armed forces in our country? I tried scanning through the pdf file of the bill to locate what you said but I couldn't find it.
  16. I carry a Glock 22 off duty recently and have had it print on some t-shirts. I bought a Galco matrix holster seems to ride close to the body and haven't had any issues. Thats the trade off with a full size pistol that isn't that easy to conceal compared to smaller models. I miss having a smaller off duty gun.
  17. I've been sprayed with OC 3 times for certification. It blows! I would rather take the quick zap than the OC but if I have to do it again I will.
  18. I missed a year of winterizing for my waverunner and the mechanic said if you keep out of below freezing temps along with fuel and oil change you should be fine. I had a 2 stroke so I had to check the oil before going out every time.
  19. I'm ready for MW3 as long as Treyarch stays out of the game. Every game I have tried by were buggy and the graphics suck.
  20. That's freaking money right there! Buford is a douche the only people I've ever met that liked him were some security guards.
  21. I was waiting for someone to post it. As bad as Phil Williams can make it look to the public it isn't that way on the seizures. It isn't the law abiding Joe getting stopped and his $50 bill from his wallet is taken. These are people typically with false compartments with money packaged that also have odor of narcotics on it. They either act stupid and disown the money or admit it was proceeds to narcotics. The money is seized by swearing to a judge and deposited in the Drug Fund. That money can only be used legally for certain things. I don't know about you but they want to keep seizing money from smugglers and couriers so my taxes won't go up for certain things fine.
  22. It doesn't state you have no expectation to privacy or against illegal search and seizure. I take it as you can not forcefully resist an entry by a LEO. That doesn't mean you don't have recourse if it truly is a violation of rights or illegal.
  23. That I don't doubt. Nashville has gone to hell.
  24. I don't believe this means you can't carry legally within 1000 feet of the mentioned locations. It is repealing the Drug free school zone law and replacing it with the same plus other crimes committed within 1000 feet. It's an enhancement and typically used by the DA for the plea to the original felony charge.
  25. F'n hilarious, get some red smoking jackets with TGO on them. Welcome to the gentlemen's club.
