  1. That podcast legitimately changed me. I don't know that any form of media has impacted me like that one. It really opened my eyes to how pitiful our legal system is.
  2. I tried to get into Cocaine and Rhinestones and just couldn't do it. It didn't hook me like others do. Maybe I need to try a few more episodes.
  3. I've noticed it too. Windy even on days it doesn't storm.
  4. I'm fit, go to the gym regularly and maintain a healthy weight. I have high cholesterol. Runs in my family too. I've been on cholesterol meds since my late 20's.
  5. I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt and the breeze is almost chilly but I'm not upset about it. Just about perfect.
  6. I'm still younger than most of you but the older I get the more I appreciate simple things like a nice day. Our spring has been amazing so far this year. I'm not ready for the humidity. These mild temperatures are great. I've been working outside most of the day. Feeling blessed to get to work from home most days.
  7. I would recommend the documentary on Netflix about this. Filthy Rich is the title.
  8. A few maybe. Certainly not the level we've seen since 2016.
  9. Either. People here love conspiracy theories. It has been noticeable for years.
  10. It's hard to believe we still can't enjoy a plant that makes us hungry and sleepy. We can drink ourselves to death but can't have the devils lettuce.
  11. I would be surprised if we didn't have a few members here that were involved with this.
  12. I hate that they call it "lifetime" fluid. It's not. Good call on not having it flushed. Drain and fill is safer but keep in mind that only gets out 1/3 of the old fluid. That's why I did a series of drain and fills over the course of a thousand miles or so.
  13. You could always try servicing the transmission first if it's never been done. I do drain+fills on my 2002 Tundra transmission. 4 quarts out, 4 in. I just drove my 2002 to Arizona and back. Never selling it.
  14. I could be wrong but I think they live on more than one island. Not on the one we visit though.
  15. The Outer Banks are great. We typically put my truck on the ferry out of Atlantic, NC to the North Core bank.
  16. Harbor Freight is perfectly fine for certain things. I needed a set of Flare Nut wrenches I'm only going to use every few years. It made sense to buy them at H.F.
  17. Tell that to some of my former employers
  18. To be fair, most professions are like this. Everyone is trying to make as much money as possible with the least amount of work.
  19. Anyone have any new podcast recommendations? My wife and I are about to do a cross country road trip to Arizona and I'll need some new material.
  20. Imperative Entertainment pumps out high quality podcast material. Thanks for sharing this.
  21. I was at my dentist today and he said the same thing. He was really unhappy that they killed it. I agree. Served no purpose.
  22. I read this is not just a paddle fish record, but the biggest fish ever caught in the state. Impressive.
  23. Fort Loudon is pretty cool if you like history. https://fortloudoun.com/ Just 4 minutes past that is the Sequoyah Birthplace museum which I have not been to yet. Close to the Cherohala Skyway and The Dragon. That entire part of the state is scenic. That's typically where we go camping.
  24. Still available
  25. I'm interested in the company that @Chucktshoes recommended. I'll probably order one with my refund. https://www.goonbeam.com/
