  1. I would love to see this guy debate Trump. Two dudes just slinging lie after lie and talking over each other. They actually have some similarities with each one loving to make bold claims without any proof. RFK went on Joe Rogan and claimed wi-fi is causing brain cancer. When pressed for details he couldn't provide them. Interesting times we live in. Feels more like Idiocracy every day.
  2. I guarantee they know exactly who it belongs to. I would bet a lot of people in Washington politics use cocaine and other drugs.
  3. This was my impression too but Google seems to be saying otherwise. I suspect that damage is somewhere around $3,000. If they do raise your rates I suspect it won't be much unless you have previous claims in the last few years. My wife backed into another car last year. It did around $2,000 in damage to our car and an unknown amount to the other vehicle but damage was far more severe. I would not be surprised if it was a $10,000 claim. They only raised our premium around $20/month.
  4. So are we to believe it when .gov officials tell us yes or when they told us no? Good point. I think we treat everything with skepticism. I don't expect them to admit they have been lying to us anytime soon. It's just hard for me to believe that all these people that have come forward are either lying or crazy. They are sacrificing their careers, finances and privacy in doing so. That's just my take on it. Interesting times.
  5. Very true. We need the government to come out admit they have been lying to us for decades but I won't hold my breath. These whistleblowers are risking a lot by coming forward and I hope it leads to something positive.
  6. Over the last month both Marco Rubio and Tim Burchett have had multiple interviews on this topic. They are hoping to have some of the whistleblowers testify before Congress soon. Has anyone else been following this story?
  7. Because James Earl Ray did not kill Dr King. He likely wasn't even involved. One of the best frame jobs in history. Did you listen to that podcast yet?
  8. So the owners manual didn't offer much help but I got it to kick start in neutral with no clutch. Very odd. It started on the second kick. The only thing the manual mentions is that if it doesn't start you can try giving it a little throttle while kicking. @BigK, there is no choke on this bike.
  9. When I try in neutral there is no resistance at all. Feels like it has to be in gear to work. Much more resistance while in gear but engine doesn't fire. There is a lot and it's not on the map. We rode for hours today and barely scratched the surface. Happy to send you the coordinates of you want. Not sure. I kick and nothing happens. The friend I ride with couldn't make sense of it either. Stop being so logical I'll have to check and see what it says.
  10. I had great time on the Honda today. The single track trails at Windrock are great. I have a question. Is there a trick to kick starting this thing? The electric start works fine but it won't kick start. I tried it in both 1st gear and neutral. Clutch in.
  11. I have wondered about this for years. It never seemed like an actual science. Same with bite marks. I think they finally stopped allowing that after several people were falsely convicted because of junk bite mark "science". Thanks for sharing this news.
  12. Growing up in Lenoir City there was never a lot to do so we often hung out at this Wal-Mart. I never felt unsafe but I was also a naive kid. I wonder if someone had a neglect discharge and bolted? I'm surprised they haven't released security footage.
  13. Sure. I've only been able to ride the gas bike a few times but I'll share my initial thoughts. I had a really hard time letting the E bike go. The Talaria felt like riding a really fast mountain bike. It's light and nimble and overall just easier to ride for an inexperienced rider like me. If I got in a jamb I could just pick it up and turn it around. It was incredibly fun. The biggest downside is that they are made in China. I was concerned about long term reliability. Range was a concern too but I could have picked up a 2nd battery. The Honda is 70lbs heavier. It's harder for me to load on my hitch hauler, harder to ride, and feels more like an actual motorcycle. That said, I'm sure this will get easier with time. I'm enjoying shifting gears and learning a clutch. It has better suspension than the Talaria. It is also made in China but still has Honda's reliability. It also has twice the range. Most people report getting 100 miles or more to a tank. If money were not a consideration I would have kept the Talaria in addition to the Honda. I hope to have another one someday. Overall, both are a lot of fun and I enjoy riding in the woods much more than pavement.
  14. Yes it worked well enough. I'm still experimenting with different ways to strap it down.
  15. This thread is exactly what they want. Just by talking about it, he's getting more attention than he otherwise would have. Politicians on both sides are going to start throwing out ridiculous things to try and grab more attention from the media as the race heats up. Buckle up. This amendment will never happen.
  16. That dude is going to kill someone if that thing falls off. Imagine hitting that on a motorcycle.
  17. That is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Here is the interview if anyone is interested. Interesting. It appears someone took it down. That isn't suspicious at all...
  19. My wife says she's ready to be probed. I'm not sure how concerned I should be.
  20. Not if they keep suppressing it.
  21. Yes exactly. But if someone is willing to lose a hand for a loaf of bread, I'm not sure more punishment will be effective. We aren't doing anything to address the root cause of why people commit crime. We put people in prison, they get released, and many commit crimes again. We did nothing to actually fix that individual. If the argument is that they are there to be punished, not fixed, then that's fine. Just know that it doesn't somehow reduce crime.
  22. It's disappointing that some of you think harsher penalties would actually work. There are countries that chop off a hand for stealing and yet they still have a lot of crime. If people are desperate enough it doesn't matter what the punishment is. On the opposite side, there are countries with extremely liberal penalties that have some of the lowest rates of crime on earth. Addressing the root cause of crime would be a lot more effective at preventing it than fighting over the penalties.
  23. I'm been following this story the last few days and find it very interesting. "The US has been urged to disclose evidence of UFOs after a whistleblower former intelligence official said the government has possession of “intact and partially intact” alien vehicles. The former intelligence official David Grusch, who led analysis of unexplained anomalous phenomena (UAP) within a US Department of Defense agency, has alleged that the US has craft of non-human origin." Even Rep Tim Burchett agrees. https://twitter.com/HighPeaks77/status/1666772506206666753?t=trkxo9eL7d8c5iAqpk5Oqg&s=19 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jun/06/whistleblower-ufo-alien-tech-spacecraft
  24. I got so annoyed with their website that I still haven't signed back up. There is really no excuse in 2023 to have a website that dysfunctional. Especially when fundraising is key to your existence.
  25. I'm not sure what the truth is. The documentary I watched didn't paint him in a great light either. I realize that might be biased too.
