  1. Maybe she has permission? If she is safe and smart with it I really wouldn't care. I see no reason to report her and potentially ruin her life if arrested.
  2. I'll stick to the original striker fired pistol---Glock
  3. I actually scored 2 50 founds boxes of Federal "lightning" .22lr today at Wal-Mart. They had more but I left it for the other guys and bought some .45 instead.   $2.47 for 50 rounds.    Not a chance in hell I'll pay $50 for a brick.
  4.   Well, we don't know that for sure but you're probably right. That being said, I was just responding to Spots who said he wouldn't care if they did burn them alive.
  5.   I do. This is what makes us better than them. I won't shed any tears but burning someone alive is inexcuseable IMO.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs4Cz5pzjKM   I like how the shooter has a malfunction in this video but imeediatley moves on without addressing it on video.

  8. That's neat. Where is Spots? We never did hear what he did with that pistol he found.
  9. Geico for auto. The have lowered my rates every 6 months for over 2 years now. Couldn't be happier.   American Integrity for home. I only pay $465-ish per year which is pretty damn good for Florida. That was after I bought the better plan which gave me more firearm coverage.
  10. I'm just as skeptical of our government as anyone else here but I'm hoping somone can explain how this might hurt us. LEOSA comes to mind which I know has been a huge benefit to LEO's across the country.   Let's say this passes and we're able to carry in every state. What exactly could they do later that would potentially screw us over?
  11. I've owned one Taurus and it was the first pistol I bought. 24/7 pro in 9mm. It was a great carry gun and 100% reliable. I sometimes wish I'd kept it.   That being said, it's hard not to to see all the issues they seem to have with quality control and their "warranty" is apparently pretty bad as well.   It's a shame because the have had some good ideas over the years.
  12. That looks fantastic. Professional is the first word that came to mind but others beat me to it. Please describe this "candle method" you used.   Also, any idea how much you shrunk the frame?
  13.   The overpriced kind. My local store had several of these cases come in. The sold 1 or 2 to someone who either doesn't care of doesn't know any better. The rest have been sitting on the shelves for weeks.   The 420 round cans of 5.56 are $199. Up from $169 in 2012.
  14. Do you have any pets? My dogs have backpacks and they will carry their own food and water.   You'll find more info at www.survivalistboards.com
  15.   That's correct. When I eject the spent shell and try to bring one into the chamber from the tube it falls to the ground from the bottom rather than climb on up into the chamber. I'm going to try it again and watch what the gate does.
  16.   There is something in front of the spring. I'll try again but it wasn't budging when I tried earlier.
  17.   Can ya be more specific John? Any ideas?
  18.   I don't mean to hijack but is that the range right next to the jail? Is it open to the public?
  19. I have a Winchester Defender 1300 that dates back to 1984. It hasn't been shot in probably 15 years but I keep it well lubed and in pristine condition.    I took it out today to do some sporting clays with a few friends and all was well for the first 30 or so shells and then I started having issues.   When trying to chamber a shell it would fall to the ground rather than the lifter taking it up top into the chamber. The only think I can think of is that the magazine spring is not strong enough to force the round out like it should. I noticed that the spring has very little tension compared to my 870.   Am I off base here?        Also, I tried to take it apart tonight to check the spring and I couldn't figure it out. The cap on the end of the magazine come off and I thought that is how you remove the spring but all it did was allow me to remove the barrel.
  20. Australian Shepherds are one of, if not the smartest, of all breeds. He almost looks like a pure breed. Don't be surprised if he tries to herd other dogs and nips at them. He's not being aggressive, it's just how they are.
  21. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/at-democrats-request-even-mike-bloomberg-is-giving-up-on-gun-control/   I have a hard time believing this douche is done but this sure is an interesting twist.
  22. 5.56 and .223 is really starting to come back in availability and down in price. Sgammo.com has some great deals right now.   This is the best I've seen though.   http://agsarmament.com/wolf-gold-223rem-55gr-fmj-1000rd-case     .33/round after the $25 discount-code MACDEAL
  23. Post some pictures!
