  1. A few things that amaze me. 1) the trucks on the back of that semi stayed put. I'm amazed they didn't roll off. 2) The SUV that lost control didn't flip. 3) no one was seriously injured.
  2.   Part of me would like an XDS because I liked the way it felt but every honest man needs a 1911 in his collection. I prefer the commander length so I may try to find a new Ruger 1911.   I sure do like the looks of the Kimbers the most but they don't have the best reputation.
  3.     It's all about the $$$ my friend. Between saving to buy a house, preparing for the zombie apocalypse, saving for an engagement ring, and everything else the world throws at me it takes about every dollar I make!
  4. The Wal-Mart near me only had .45ACP in stock. I picked up a box because the price was hard to beat. I don't own anything in .45 yet but I plan on buying my first 1911 this year or the next.
  5. Cookeville is a nice little town but I would much rather be in East Tennessee. As others have mentioned I would check out Maryville or another place outside Knoxville.
  6. It's hard to believe Texas doesn't allow open carry. Love it or hate it you will realize how important OC is once you live in a state that doesn't allow it. It's annoying that I can't OC while hiking here. Only legal while "camping " and fishing.
  7. Definitely on the heavy side but I like the CPL
  8. Steamlight Stylus Pro. I've carried one in my pocket for a few years now. Fantastic light for around $20.
  9. I'm not suggesting anything. I'm just saying I hope we don't wait until they lauch a nuke to react.     Speaking of which, do we currently have the means to shoot down nukes over the US?
  10. EMP scares the sh*t of me personally. I'm curious to know how far we are willing to let North Korea go before we act.
  11.   Yep. I'm pretty damn tired of the double standard. You and I would be in jail if we so much as drew our guns. There is no excuse for opening up on a group of unarmed women.   The truck was not even the same make and model.
  12. I go to probably 2-3 yard sales a month and never find anything of value. Hopefully my luck will change.
  13. Yep it's posted. Every IKEA location is posted but as you mentioned they have no weight of law.
  14. I enjoy his Youtube channel. Glad he was there to represent us.
  15. Amazing. They believe the guy may be driving a blue Nissan Titan.   The cops opened fire on a Toyota and Honda full of innocent people. Brilliant, just brilliant.
  16. Wow. This is going to attract a lot of attention.   I sincerely hope they kill this guy before he hurts anyone else.      I thought CA already banned "assault weapons" or at least restricted them heavily.
  17. I have to admit, he did better shooting that AR that I would have guessed.
  18. They are still there for me.
  19. I gotta give Ford props. I was honestly expecting more front end damage. I still suspect the truck has a lot of damage we couldn't see.   I'm still going with totaled.
  20. I would bet the frame is probably bent. That truck is totaled.
  21.   Ugly as sin but very interesting. I didn't notice if it had iron sights or not
  22.   I'm not having any luck finding this Flex. A google search is turning up other Mossberg guns but nothing in .223 other than the MVP.
  23.   Is that last picture real? I have a hard time believing a picture like that would get leaked out to the public. Pretty tasteless for the website to post that picture IMO.
  24.   Already did that. Still not good enough.   We've been to the DMV here in Orlando 4  times and each time we visit they tell us we need to do something different.
  25. My GF's Carolla was totaled during the hail storm that hit Knoxville in Spring of 2011.State Farm totaled the car out but we were able to buy it back for very little.   Cosmetically the car is a disaster, it looks like a golf ball. Mechanically it's a great car and we will continue to drive it for years. The only downside is that it's now a "salvage" title which means she can't get full coverage insurance and most car dealerships don't want to take it in on trade.   We've been living in Florida for 19 months now and we are still unable to convince Florida to give us a title for the car. We have been driving around on TN tags this entire time because they keep jerking us around.
