I've been once probably 12 years ago. It was a good time. I'd definitely do it again.

My friend ordered a Bersa Thunder from them almost a month ago I think. It still has not shipped. 

The only thing I'm finding is 12GA ammo at Wal-Mart. Nothing else can be found online or in stores. Since moving to Florida I don't got shooting nearly as often as I did in TN so I'm saving more than I'm using.

  What makes you so sure? Half the gun owners at work seem to be perfectly fine with whatever might come. Hell, they voted for Obummer.   No one cares enough to do anything once this happens. NFL Football and American Idol are far more important.

I already saw on another forum where a New Yorker is selling his house and moving to East TN this week.   You guys ready for the flood of Yankees. Let's hope they don't ruin TN like they did Florida.

I have mixed feelings on this topic. Since %40 of all guns are supposedly purchased without a background check I find it hard to believe that by eliminating private sales it wouldn't help keep the guns out away from certain people. Obviously there is no way to do this without infringing on the rights of everyone else.   Remember, a lot of these nut job are cowards. I don't think they would have the balls to break into a house or car to steal a firearm. I also don't believe that the crime rate will drop dramatically once private sales are outlawed.   One thing I would be ok with is only allowing private sales between people who both have their HCP/CCW. I also like the idea of private sales being done at your local PD with a background check provided by them at little to no charge. Obviously this may not be feasible.      Like I said, I have really mixed feelings. I can see both sided of the argument. 

Let's get it over with already. I'm tired of waiting and it's clear King Obama is going to do what he chooses. 

I don't believe this is true. I was at Wal-Mart recently when the employee was restocking the ammo shelf(my timing was amazing) and the guy that works there is one of the only  employees I have ever dealt with that knows a lot about ammo and genuinely gets excited about his job.   I know the guy well enough that I'm pretty sure he would have mentioned it, also why would be be restocking the shelf?     Time will tell I suppose.

Steel case ammo is fine in firearms that are not picky with ammo. Unfortunately the p238 requires quality ammunition.    I need to get back to the range with my GF's p238. So far "Sassy" has been flawless using WWB.

One thing I forgot to mention, if you are hoping to find a specific caliber/brand of ammo at Wal-Mart you can hop on their website and sign up for emails when that product comes back in stock at the Wal-Mart you visit.

Until I'm sitting on thousands upon thousands of rounds for each caliber I own and a few dozen magazines for each gun I won't feel "fine".    Right now I'm focusing on increasing my stash of .22LR(I only have a few bricks) and finding a decent deal on .223/5.56. I'd also like to find a few more 25 round clips for my Ruger 10/22.   Considering trading my Glock 23 for another G19 so I can eliminate one caliber from my rotation. I'm up to 4 different handgun calibers which is more than I would like.

  When did you buy a Glock 19? I knew you had the gen 2 23.   Which generation did you get?

I buy as many as I can. Up until this most recent craze I was buying 2-3 AR mags each month. Primaryarms.com was selling them for $10 with free shipping right before Thanksgiving.

  Great post Greg. Last week my step dad tried to tell me that Ohio had the most electoral votes in the country. It's funny considering he doesn't even vote.   Everyone in the room looked at me like I had a third eye when I tried to educate them on the electoral college. Out of 6 adults in the room only 2 people voted in this last election, my mother and myself. My GF, brother, SIL and step dad did not vote and they all thought Ohio had the most electoral votes.    Most Americans would rather watch Twilight and read about who their favorite celebrity is screwing rather than get involved in the issues.
