  1. I'm pretty sure OhShoot told me there was some kind of exception if you inherit the gun from a family member... Paging OhShoot!!!
  2. It's disgusting that students are not allowed to defend themselves. I never felt safe on UT's campus.
  3. beat me by a hair!
  4. Remember when Rick blasted those 2 pricks in the bar? They were talking about going to Nebraska. That's my guess.
  5. I still disagree with disarming someone in these situations but that's just my opinion. You were up front and honest with him from the beginning and you volunteered info that you are not required to by law. Why disarm you? Regardless, it's good to hear everything went well.
  6. I believe that is what Fallguy mean when he said regulations. But yes, that should be correct.
  7. I vote LCR.
  8. You really just need to get your hands on these guns and not worry so much about exact dimensions. Any of these 3 guns should be easy to carry/conceal. You won't know for sure until you hold one.
  9. Glock 19 for the reasons stated above.
  10. It sounds like you have already done your research. I do believe the P01 is the newest model and it would be my first choice out of the 3 listed. Mainly because I don't want a carry gun that has a side safety. That is a personal preference. Also note the PCR does not have a light rail. I think the 75 compact might take a while to find and when you do find one it will be overpriced. CZ's used to be really inexpensive but their prices have increase dramatically the last few years.
  11. So you are basically saying TN should raise the age requirement for getting a carry permit...? That is what it sounds like. At what age do you suggest people are mature enough to carry a firearm?
  12. I agree with the CZ 75 compact being your best choice given the requirements. The problem is that they are not the easiest to find. Check with D&T Arms as I hear they stock CZ's.
  13. wow. You did get lucky. Go buy a lotto ticket.
  14. Mr. Brady, is that you?
  15. sure, and while were at it, we can have mandatory IQ tests for permit holders....... The last thing we need is more regulations and more "safety" features.
  16. Maybe I missed it but I was wondering if we will be getting the "like" feature back. That was a popular feature.
  17. yep. I've had good luck with Fisher. Avoid Matlock Tire.
  18. Waiting since October is not acceptable. Period.
  19. My girlfriend was kind enough to get me these grips for my CZ 40P! I couldn't be happier! She ordered them from the CZ custom shop in case anyone is curious.
  20. I've heard of the Ghost Rocket but I'm not real familiar with it. Was it easy to install? Where did you buy it?
  21. 1991 Toyota 4Runner. The most under-powered vehicle I have ever driven but I loved it. It was a mechanical nightmare. My dad spend as much as on the initial purchase as he did in repairs. I gave the thing absolute hell!! Top speed was 95 with the pedal through the floor. Took it off road numerous times and never got stuck. I even jumped some railroad track with it. By far my favorite vehicle I have owned. I miss it.
  22. If this is true the gun hating staff at Knox news would have printed it right away. I don't see anything.
  23. Welcome to TGO. I like CZ's as well!
  24. I don't know anything about Louisville but I have visited once and in a way it was similar to Knoxville. Seemed to be about the same size and the atmosphere was on par with and other mid size city in the South. I don't think you would have any trouble adjusting. Good luck Murg! Still hate that we somehow never met up at Norris.
