  1. Kids were up at 2:30 am! Merry Christmas to all.
  2. I always keep a loaded mag of hollow points in my pocket and shoot with the others. My target mags may be empty but ..... . Gun never lays on the bench it goes back into the holster. I use to shoot at an un maned range in Tallahassee, Fl. this became a habit that I will always stick with for good reason.

    CHMR Range Fees

He is first class all the way. My current membership does not expire until May 2012 but I will offer the extra $20.00 to support he needs.
  4. I built up a '76 CJ5. fuel injected 304, disc drakes, full roll cage, ... Sold it when the gun bug bit me. Been thinking of working on CJ7.... I'm in.
  5. Santa's not real?
  6. I live 5 mins from it but surprisingly have never hunted it. Most guys park on Sowell Mill Pike on the shoulder. I drive that route daily. I have seen some nice 8pnts carried out. They do pretty well in turkey season. TWRA is out there quite a bit too.
  7. There is a group in Jacksonville, Fl that has done this several times for the Jax community. No questions asked type deal for cash. I was AMAZED at what types of guns they brought in. No doubt they were hot but it achieved the objective of getting them off the streets.
  8. Just traded for this MPA 930. I want to put a suppressor on it. Have looked on-line at a few but not sure. Are there any shops in the Nashville area that can help inform, sell & paperwork the entire process? Anyone have one of these with a suppressor? would love to see one in action before spending $$$ on one.
  9. All options considered I think Line X is the product for me. I may hold off until after x-mas to see if they run any specials. Right now the average costs between the 3 Line X shops I called was $500 for standard coating bed only. Still contacting the dealer....
  10. Good idea. Going to give that a shot. Thanks
  11. I have called Line X of Franklin, Nashville and even Bowling Green. They were all within 20 dollars of each other. Franklin the cheapest. I will give Madison a call to see what they can do. Thanks
  12. I have owned trucks with the plastic and with sprayed liners (not sure which brand). The plastic liners are slick surface and things tend to slide around too much. I have seen trucks where the plastic liners trap moisture and crude underneath that started rusting the bed. Plastic liners also rattle around and are noisy (not that the Cummins diesel is quite).
  13. Going to get my new 2011 Dodge 2500 bed sprayed. If anyone on here does it maybe I can bring some business their way. The only options I have seen are Line X or Rino. Are there any others I should be considering?
  14. Looks like a good time. Nothing like some Recoil therapy. Don't forget to protect the eyes!
  15. I just buy the large refill bag of Damp Rid. Keep the containers full. One in my ammo cabinet, one in my gun safe shelf and one in the room. Works great
  16. Well I went with Plan B. The year end dealer incentives and near 0% financing I got a smokin deal on a new 2011 Dodge 2500 CC, auto, 4x4, 6.7L Cummins with a 5yr/100,000 power train warranty.
  17. I was at Harbor Freight off of Lebanon Pike last week and they had a now hiring sign out. Good luck
  18. Trade you a SKS I have seen them with asking price between 9k-14k. I appears many get new trannys around 225k miles. To me I start at KBB and then adjust up based on recent work (new trannys, fuel injectors, etc) if all the work has been verified by service records. Basically if the asking is above KBB it needs to be justified by service records. So my price range really depends on the truck. I have a few in consideration.
  19. Looking for a nice F250/350 (single rear F350) Crew cab,4x4, auto, 7.3L diesel. I have found several....In Texas. Nothing around here? Prefer the pre 99 body style but pre 02 will work.
  20. OK, but I am not taking my shoes or belt off.
  21. Greatest life experience (no one will ever know if your BS'ing) If you get sideways on content you can improvise back on track.
  22. Bass Pro in Opry Mills, down Broadway for the Tourist Honkytonk flavor, read the homeless newspaper (vendor on any street corner), some pretty good restaurants in the West End Area.
  23. If its real I think we just found Elmer Fudd.
  24. All of the above is good advice. A home inspector is a joke. Have a licensed electrician, roofer, HVAC, etc come out and inspect the systems. A home inspector has a flash light, a receptical test light and a clip board.
  25. Its a 180 grn round nose. Standard Lee mold.
