  1. I guess they don't have tasers. The story told from the officers side was the guy ran about 35' away after the gun went off during the struggle. Officer Wilson pursued. They stopped and started to hound the officer before he rushed back to him. So yes, if he had a taser I think there was time to pull it. The cop did what he had to do with what he had to neutralize the threat. Frankly I think the truth is somewhere between the 2 stories.
  2. They will see what they want to force an outcome. The 2nd kid (the witness) story already is not supported by the bullet wounds reported. So the kid put his hands up with his back turned and cop shot high at his arms 4x then the kid turned around and the cop decide to put 2 in the head for no reason, really? The 3rd party story from the cops friend seems to fit bullet wounds and sound more probable. It is suspicious they did not come forward early with his side. Can't believe in this day there are still PD's without dash cams. Did this cop not have a taser?
  3. Dang! It be cool it you could get rid of them and keep the nest intact. Try a fogger. Homedepot and Lowes sells a propane black flag insect fogger. I chased away some bees like that once. Never got stung but a hornet sting is much worse.
  4. On my 2011 Dodge 2500 any OBD2 reader can read or clear a code. They do have proprietary software to re flash, adjust, add sales codes etc for equipment.
  5. That poster is hilarious (and true). Engineers don't need to know how to spell. I am a Civil Engineer too. Have my PE license in Florida and TN. The market in TN looks promising but will make substaintly more $$$ in FL. Beside the technical studies I recommend you take some courses in speaking and personal development. You will see that in the advanced positions this will become more valuable than anything else. The EIT's and techs sit in front of the computer and crunch numbers, Draw in CAD and run models. The PE's review design in between finding clients and winning projects. Good Luck.
  6. WTF was he doing getting out of the car. Sad story. It appears he did try to buzz him as hit the gas as he passes. Hard to tell if the guy keep advancing toward the car as it went by. Tony fish tailed to the inside. Doubt it will be anything more than a terrible accident.
  7. You will quickly start to have a new appreciation to that Toby Keith song where he says "good as I once was"
  8. Read where a young guy in Mexico shot himself in the head with a 38 trying to take a selfie.
  9. I read an article about who ISIS is and it referred them as being "well armed" mainly due to the Iraqi army dropping their (US) weapons and running. Sad thing is we get rid of these guys there will be another group to come in an keep going.
  10. It makes no sense bringing them into a crowded metro area. The spokes person for the WHO said there is nothing can be done other that observe and wait. Why not take them to a remote installation and do that.
  11. In 3rd world counties yes but If it gets out in the US the payoff is huge. It "accidentally" gets out here. The need for a vaccine makes economical sense. Yes I am a germ a phobe. I clean the house with bleach cause I like the smell. I'll go find my tin hat now. LOL
  12. If it's not so easily spread supposedly only by fluids as they are telling us then why the isolation chambers on the plane to bring them back. I think it's much worse but the first pharmaceutical company to develop a vaccine wins big. Sounds like our safety is 2nd to profit.
  13. Burn 'Em! Burn everything! Oh wait that was small pox. Let's hope it's for the best and they can study the strain to develop a vaccine. Otherwise it could be a real life walking dead scenario. I call Carl!
  14. Nothing like walking in a crowded store with your kids when your 5 year old shouts out "Hey Dad do you have your gun".
  15. As much as it would suck some dented car panels or broken window is still not worth shooting someone over. I'll refrain from the jokes about wheelchairs on this one as I believe we have some forum brothers in this situation
  16. I saw that on CNN online. That was funny. Bet those guys think twice before doing that again.
  17. You got some comical but true advice here. If this is for real you need to cut ties with her ASAP. Sounds like she's not done sampling the sausage if she's out flirting. This is one guy online you found out about who knows how many more are out there.
  18. I heard the same that her folks were already well off and had to front some real dollars for her to get a shot. Give her credit that she hit a real fan base with the younger crowd and has made a fortune. Unfortunately that fan base is short term as they grow up and she becomes no longer 'cool'.
  19. Was Columbia now Culleoka. Actually in both until I can sell the house in Columbia.
  20. I just stupid enough to try this.
  21. We got a place with 5 acres last November. I got a new 2013 Kubota L32000 HST 4wd with the FEL. I previously had an older Kubota B6000. The L3200 has been awesome. It is a little light weight wise but in moving trees, dirt, rock I have yet come up short on power. With that said I would go with a L3800 if it's priced right. Trouble you may have now is all the 2014 tractors have to have the new EPA emissions crap in it. The non emission 2013 may be hard to find or marked up. I heard the 2014s have had some problems. If you go Kubota and don't mind the drive to Huntsville AL check out Huntsville Tractor. Sales tax in AL is only 2.5% vs 9% here in TN. I just got finished clearing a spot and building a berm for my pistol range. This fall when the leaves drop I'll be taking some trees down to get a100yd rifle range. Freakin awesome!
  22. Yep! I got four (10, 8, 5, 2) plus the wife. The dog is a male but acts like a girl during storms. I am learning more each day. I got Dads old side by side 12 guage for the dating years. Me sitting on the porch with it as they pull up the drive.
  23. Does it have a safety switch under the seat. When my wife drives my L3200 she comes in saying something's wrong it just cut out. Turns out she sits to far forward and it disengages and kills the tractor. Perhaps yours has an issue.
  24. Its hard to find decent cheap lead around here unless you know someone in the plumbing, tire changing, etc business. I usally score most of mine on my trips down to FL. I have freinds that dive and always find old cast nets and sinkers on the bottom or in the rocks. Need to flux it a few times but it comes out clean.
  25. I had their 1911-22. Got it from a guy who said it would jam once or twice every mag. I polished the feed ramp and it was a new gun. I could not make it jam. I would run through a mag as fast as I could it was awesome. Not a tight fitting gun but it was fun as heck to shoot. Sold it for some AR parts but should have kept it.
