  1. Olympic Arms is stepping up for us.  I'll try to support them wherever possible.
  2. A friend of my fathers killed himself by casting fishing weights several years ago.  He did this for his retirement income.  Unfortunately he wore no type of protective gear, smoked and drank beer while melting down tire weights for sinkers.  It got him!
  3. Seen a lot of black ones, never knew they came in green.
  4. I think I am getting a little candy heart with about 6 pieces of chocolate in it.  If she doesn't forget again!
  5. Having lived most of my life in Fl, I think they are using this as justification to go fishing for much bigger things.  Stop someone, find faulty equipment, license, etc.  Then it is game on, Any guns?,any drugs?, mind if I look in your trunk?
  6. They did this crap in Miami years ago.  If I remember correctly, it was a civil suit where the gun manufacturer was held liable for the shooting of a school teacher by one of his student/thugs.  I'll have to find the story again.  It pretty well killed the importer/manufacturer.  I believe it was a Raven .25 or something along those lines.
  7. I hired a moving company to put mine on the truck when I moved from Fl. 3 guys and a moving dolly took them about 10 minutes and cost me 50 bucks and a six pack of Bud light! Well worth it I thought.
  8. Coming from Florida where it was  law that all guns had to be secured from children, I keep all of mine in the safe.  Will I be able to get to them in time?,probably not.  I would still rather take that chance, over a tragic gun related accident that we read about all to frequently.
  9. Wish I was the seller!
  10. A lot of us have had to make the decision to sell "stuff" to help the family.  I kind of think that is what is being a grownup is all about.  I sold a bunch over the years to cover family expenses.  I would do it again today if necessary.  Family and kids outrank posessions by a crap load!
  11. I have always wanted to plug my trailer into the 220 outlet for my dryer, to give the thieves a bit of excitement when they try to snatch it.  I know I would be arrested and sued , but it would sure be fun to light their scumbag butts up!
  12. Not sure if you have them on that side of the state but TVA Credit Unions have free machines for account holders.  Dump it in, get your receipt, trade it to teller for cash.
  13. I can tell you how to get some!
  14. You may want to hold out for the new XDS-9 they just announced.  It is supposed to be a rival for the S&W Shield.
  15. Those ought to get you on every "Bleeding Heart Hate List" that exists!
  16. I would use a set of the disposable foam ear plugs as well as the muffs if anyone is shooting big stuff.
  17. Previous to moving here, the indoor range I used allowed anything under 50 cal to be used.  Quite common to see Ar's etc being sighted in or function checked.  Never any problems, just loud as hell.
  18. I did once for several weeks after we had been married a few years.  I don't even remember why now.  I do remember how much it broke my heart to see her cry and be so upset about some stupid ass power play I thought was funny at the time.  I decided to remove my head from my rectum and compromise.  Marriage is hard enough without being stupid.  This year will make 34 years for us.  I was 21 and she was 18 when we were married.
  19. I'm guessing the promoter either sells, or has a family member that sells reloading components and can't handle the competition!
  20. Wow! This ought to be covered in the frequently asked question section........   Say what?        Oh! :waiting:
  21. No parking fee and entrance is $10.  Usually an online coupon for a dollar or two off.  One fee gets you in all three days.
  22. Is there a model number stamped on the crane that holds the cylinder?  Most fairly modern Smiths are stamped.  Should say 14-2 0r something along those lines.  I presume it is .38 cal?
  23. I am not exactly sure where the cut off point would be before they are considered "High Crapacity".  We all know,  only the military and police departments need high crap socks!
