  1. I pocket carry most of the time but I have been carrying my ruger Sr 40 lately thanks to my new in the waste holster. Sits jus above the waistband and is not very noticeably at all as long as I don't tuck the shirt in.
  2. To a liberal, unrestrained discussion is only achieved if said liberal can set the narrative. Having individuals exercise freedoms wthout issues despite the narrative certain people try and push kills the liberal talking points
  3. In Nashville I have bought my last 2 pistols from guns for America off of amory drive. Not a huge selection but if you know what you want, call them and see if they have it. They have had the best prices from what I found for what I was looking for
  4. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/college-chancellor-takes-stand-for-gun-rights-after-prof-threatens-to-cancel-class-over-gun-carrying-students/ This is sorta sureal being it makes sense
  5. the only thing I have heard is that if you have metal mags, the top of the mag may start giving a little when fully loaded and laying around for a while. Not as susceptible for the composite mags but either way, I recommend stripper clips to take the pressure off the top of the mag
  6. what too many people fail to realize is it is the mass failures of our lives that bring about the biggest changes. I have no idea what transpired during this time but all I know is what was the lesson and what has the individual done to correct their actions and make amends? I lay awake at night sometimes thinking about some of the things I have done, then I get all this anxiety and then I realize I can do nothing about the past except learn from it and apply it to the future.. so don't sweat it, embrace it and be a better person because of it

  8. I felt nervously but a better sense of security. 3 weeks ago I went to the store and as I was checking out I noticed 2 guys that kept walking in and out of the place and kept looking at people in a manor I would consider "casing" style. These guys were so out of place and not from around heya. That has been the only time I have ever even thought about my firearm while in public since the first couple of days I carried. I carry everyday and everywhere I can. Almost second nature at this point
  9. Shake it more than 2 times
  10. Thanks my people. I keep it in a holster and I never thought about the long trigger pull. I have been keeping one in the chamber for the last week but wanted to know what everyone else did. I have found chambering the first round problematic so the more I think about it, in a time of need I don't want to have to worry about that. Just wanted to know what the masses felt comfortable with.
  11. Ok, I have a ruger LCP .380 that I keep in the truck and pocket carry. I love the gun but I do wish it had a safety. I keep my truck locked but I am just a little apprehensive keeping one in the chamber. Does anyone else have a pocket carry without a safety? If you do are you comfortable keeping one in the chamber at all time?
  12. The media is going to be fighting against the right. So the only answer isnot allow the media to put them on the defense. When the media starts with their left wing narratives you throw facts back them and do it with conviction, not watered down middle of the road talking points. This is is called leadership and was the only reason Obama won last time. Mccain is a spineless politician who changed with the wind and during our econmic turmoil people needed direction and unfortunately the only direction being provided were from the socialist
  13. oh, awesome. she got fattiged but after she got use to the noise and the recoil she actually did great. What I think settle most of the anxioty was when we got there we pulled up next to a nice elder couple, had to been in the 70, 80s. I think when she saw a sweet ole lady punchin holes in targets she figured she could handle this. She was intimidated by the AR but after she pulled the trigger and found how smooth it shot she actually really liked the AR the best I think. I do think I am going to put a forward grip on it to make it easier aim for longer periods
  14. Prob my fault, I said the banned prob had a @tennessean address
  15. Mr haas may be tied to a biased editor by that is his problem, not mine. when there's nothing but a load of disingenuous anti gun bias from the tennessean I give no leway
  16. I go to my kids school all the time to eat lunch. When I do, I simply pop the clip out but I don't really separate the 2. I think the key is to not have anything in the chamber but more importantly not on your person. Keeping it stowed and seperate is not "intent to go armed" imo but in life, so many things are "subjective". I know of a few teachers that keep their protection in their vehicle.

  21. Well I find my .40 shoots smoother than the .380 because the 40 is a higher frame. We will see though
  22. Well, as a super late fathers day gift I am finally taking the bride shooting tomorrow. Plus, just got my first .223 so I am looking forward to breaking it in. She has never shot a firearm before so we will be taking it light with a .22 for a few dozen rounds and then will work up to shooting a .380, .38, .40 and will let her throw a few .223 just for grins. I am hoping to get her into it enough to get her HCP. Wish me luck, will be at chmr
  23. Folks, I am very happy with the pick. Romney is going to be a fiscal president and Ryan is going to bolster that. The issue people need to get over is the fact that everyone's ideal candidate is different. We have a long way to go to get this nation off the course it is in and Romney and Ryan will be a better direction than the Marxist in office now.
