Last few weeks there has been a family of deer rooming in the wooded area in front of my work in cool springs. About 6 deer in total. We have seen turkey and i saw a bobcat as well. All between our bld and i65 It has been a pretty active time from what i have seen this summer

I assume it is like any other big purchase. 7% state tax on first 1600 and the the 2-2.75% county tax. I bought a boat last month in fl and trying to register it in tn i have to pay taxes on it. A 28k boat cost me 1900 in taxes. Now if you are buying a used rv, you could work with the seller to provide a bill of sell for a lesser amount to help with taxes, but if you are buying new, the bill of sale will be pretty concrete

I worked across the street from the parking lot. I remember pulling in and hearing sirens. By the time i got to thr office they had the lot blocked and the poor lady was laying dead on the concrete. The crazy lady drove all the way from mich or illl (somewhere around there) to kill this lady before ahe married her ex husband. After ahe shot her, ahe got in the car, drove to the back lot and shot herself.

I got a text from the fpd about this and i called the front security desk of my work which is directly across the street from the incident to let them know. I left work felling a little bit better that i had more than the average person to potentially fend off this stuff.

When i have my work atire i normally pocket carry my ruger lcp. On casual fridays i carry in my back pocket. I have a ruger sr 40 that i have a blackhawk holster that i carry concealed behind the waistband at 6 oclock. I have only seen 1 person that looked non leo.

That type of stuff happens more often than you think in cool springs. Over the past few months, several banks on this road have been hit. I work in cool springs and do not go anywhere without my protection. Cool springs is a thug dream, quick access off the interstate and access countless high end stores and retail.

Well, i just noticed a blurb here in my middle tn employer's notifications board about the guns in trunks law. I was fully expecting it to read that they were against it and you will be fired if you where caught with it. Well, what they asked is if you are a permit holder the. Go to the security desk, fill out the form and provide a copy of your hcp. Apparently they ran out of forms and had to print more because so many people came down to fill it out I read the updated hr policy updated as of july 1 st that they changed the policy that any unauthorized weapon was prohibited. It use to be that all weapons where prohibited. So in my mind, as long as you provide proof you are a permit holder you are ok. I am still a bit leery but since a load of others have already singed up, they at least know. Load of their employees are hcp.

Just verified you can register anywhere in tn. Will register in butler county who has a 1.5% county tax. The ave county tax is around 2.5 or so. Will save a few hundred bucks.

It is a new boat so i have a bill of sale i will have to provide. How i understand it, there is a 7% state tax and a 2-2.7% county tax. I can look up the tax rates but would love to find a county that is "easy to deal with" wink nod
