  1. I am a Home Inspector here in the middle tn area. 1. The home inspector works for you.!!! Not a realtor or lender. Most realtors dislike us because we are considered the deal killer. 2.We are required by the state to be licensed and insured. I have 1,00,00.00 policy to cover general liabilty and Errors and Ommisions (required by the state) 3. We have to renew our license every 2 years and during that 2 year period we are required to do continnuing education. 4.The state regulates us so there are minimum standards. A: Not required to get on a roof. ( A good inspector will put a ladder to the roof and IF IT IS SAFE TO WALK ON I will walk on the roof. If i dont touch a shingle i cant tell you the condition of the roof. B: We are not suppose to move furniture if someone is living there.( we break it we have to buy it and the insurance company then drops us and then we can not be licensed. 5. Average price on a 1200 to 2500 square foot home is between 250 and 350. 6. Average time for an inspection is 3 to 4 hours. 7. Please make sure Water and Power are on before scheduling an inspection........ 8. A good inspector will try to work around your schedual for the inspection so that you can be there. There is a lot more info than here but this is a start. On your part If you are using THDA loans get to the Home Buyer Education Course as soon as possible before you get to far along in the procees. You will learn a lot there. Go the the home at about 10 or 11 at night on a friday or sat nite Neighborhoods change after dark. Go on line to the TN sex offender website. Flood Smart . Gov for flood info. Justice . Gov for drug seizure info A good home inspector does more than just a home inspection. They will do a property inspection. They will show you things for when Murphy calls at 3 am. I have lots more info if you want to contact me. Randy White Eagle's Nest Home Inspections LLC 615-351-6980 and yes when i do an inspection i am carrying concealed.
  2. I am still waiting to see if their customer service is as good as all say it is. I sent my newly purchased used PPK in for the recall and to check it over for proper function. Fed ex tracks great to see it gets deliverd and then sent an email to S&W 5 days later for any info and about how long it might take and it they have away to track or would they notify me when ready to ship back.. Took 24 hours to respond to email and then not much of a respones. All they said was it should take 4 weeks to repair. Nothing else, short and sweet.
  3. Dont know about any problem with draw but i finally picked up the holster. Blackhawk took my money then put it back. No response as to why. few days later called and they said they were on back order. Next day stopped at Green Military in Donelson and they had them. Was able to try on whcih was good because i had orderd the large but the med fits just right. Took it home called blackhawk and canceled that order. Review: fits and feels like any other shoulder holster, the ammo carry is interchangeable for other items. My only problem is the holster i have is for a walther p99 and i carry a p99 compact. So the holster sticks out further than i would like. I am going to try to cut the holster down to fit the compact and see if that is any better. Pics comming soon.
  4. Don't know anything about the zip lines, but we use them every year for our church youth White Water rafting. great group to work with. This year we are going to add the zip lines to our trip.
  5. Has any one out there tried this system? BLACKHAWK! CQC SERPA Shoulder Harness - BLACKHAWK! Just ordered it. Thougth why not. You guys can probably answer the Why not.
  6. What did you do to remove it?
  7. A few months ago went on the tour that both Jack and George offer. Jack has a better tour hands down. But learning the difference in the 2 George is smoother. Has something to do with cold filter and they only make (according to the tour guide) 80 Barrels a day. Definatly GEORGE.
  8. As a licensed Home Inspector my recommendations would be to call the local power compnay. From the meter out it is there problem. See if they will replace the board it may cost more if they will do it. If you want to you can arrange for a licensed and insured electrican / contractor to replace the trim while the electric company is there to disconnect the power.
  9. Blue Herron... the enemy of most boat owners.. They can leave one big hard to clean mess on the boat.
  10. *History Lesson on Your Social Security Card* *Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. *Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway *and the essage, NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION, was removed.* Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised: 1.) That participation in the Program would be Completely voluntary, No longer Voluntary 2.) That the *participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program*, Now 7.65% on the first $90,000 3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be *deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,* No longer tax deductible 4.) That the *money the participants put into the independent 'Trust Fund'* rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore,* would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and, * Under Johnson the money was moved to The General Fund and Spent 5.) That the* annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income. * Under Clinton & Gore Up to 85% of your Social Security can be Taxed Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to 'put away' -- you may be interested in the following: ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---- Q: Which* Political Party* took Social Security from the independent 'Trust Fund' and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it? A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate. ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -- Q: W*hich Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding? *A: The Democratic Party.. ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- Q: Which* Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities? * A: The Democratic Party, *with Al Gore casting the 'tie-breaking' deciding vote* as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- - Q: Which Political Party decided to start *giving annuity payments to immigrants? * AND MY FAVORITE: A: That's right! *Jimmy Carter* and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The *Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it! ** * Then,* after violating the original contract (FICA), * the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it!

My kids where in elementary school and I was able to borrow the Chester costume and wear it to school on afternoon and then that Sunday in the Donelson Hermitage Christmas parade. Love both types crunchy and reg. The company used to give its employees a couple of small bag cases at Halloween to give out as treats. Good memories ( pay not so great).
