I think A&E was trying to avoid the rocket powered liberal butthurt over his comment so they pre-emptively canned him. But the show's fan base is vastly conservative so it is gonna backfire. The issue isn't really 1st amendment. he was fully allowed his free speech now A&E is exercising theirs. The issue is whether or not you have a right to voice your opinion. In this case, as every other case, it seems you do hold that right as long as your opinion is the liberal one. It was mentioned that sometimes if you wanna be a bigshot you have to censor yourself. I agree and it would seem the A&E bigshots would have been smart enough to censor themselves. They forgot the viewers are fans of the family, not the channel.

Thanks for the input. I was all gung ho I was getting an ou then I saw that CZ hammer classic. I am like you, gregintenn. 2 bbls is beautiful. i've always liked break actions better. I thought I wanted a pump until I got my 870 express supermag. I like it but it turns out I like my break action better. Right now I have a .410 sxs that was my great grandfather's. I have also located my old Stevens singleshot 20 ga. which was my first gun. I am trying to sweet talk the current owner into selling it back to me. I am now looking to get a new 12 ga. sxs or o/u or both. CZ also makes a hammer coach with 20" bbls which looks pretty sweet. I've got the bug pretty bad. My wife's gonna divorce me.

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard some people say its harder to shoot with a sxs. I was all set to buy an o/u until I saw the CZ Hammer Classic.

I get pissed off on the road but the only thing I shoot at people is a bird.

Anybody shoot clays with a sxs? Trap, skeet, sporting...just whatever. Hunting, too. I really want a double barrel and am kinda back and forth between sxs and o/u. Whichever I buy will be used for hunting/playing.

I appreciate the replies. Whitaker has one helluva selection. I think that's the place everybody tells me i need to check out all the time. I see a road trip in my future. I may have to swing by Sumner and see what y'all have on the way. I really think the CZ is worth taking a chance on for the price point.

If I carried a gun to the Bill Goodman's Gunshow tomorrow to possibly sell is it alright to carry some ammo in as well? I've never tried or even thought about it. If not is it cool to give it to them in the parking lot as long as they pay inside? It goes with the gun to sweeten the deal. My only ammo transactions at a gun show have been buying from vendors.

No O/U's at all or just no CZ's. I'm not married to the CZ. the price point os pretty darn good, though.   Thanks for the info. I will look into the Franchi, too. I don't know a whole lot about any of them except what I read in reviews and such.

Does anybody know if any gun stores in or around the Nashville area carry CZ shotguns? Specifically over/unders. Thinking about my first o/u and I would like to check them out. Also considering a used Citori or Red Label. But I would like to check out a CZ. The price point is pretty sweet for the supposed quality you are getting.

I'm finally gonna do what I've always wanted to do and start hunting flying animals. I think it's time I bought my first semi-auto shotgun. I am considering an 11-87 or a SX3. I really like the SX3 but Remmy is an old favorite. It will be used for clays, upland birds, and if I'm lucky maybe a duck. The price range depends on what I sell but I'd like to keep it around $900. I'm not necessarily married to these guns. Any and all other suggestions appreciated. Also if anybody knows where I can find the Winchesters so I can check them out.

LOL. I put a picture of this on my FB page. The picture shows a wider area and there is a Ga. Southern player laying face down on the 1 and there is noone even close. It's like a sniper took him out.
