  1. And of course his pants are undone...
  2. Yep. This could all turn out to be a good thing. It may just get A LOT of bad politicians fired.
  3. I love it. Nothing more bad@$$ than an alligator with a nuke strapped to its back between your leg.
  4. They should hire "Smilin' Bob" as their spokesperson.
  5. What would be your perfect gun collection and why?    I finally have my minimum collection: semi auto .22 lr-hunting/plinking bolt action 7mm mag.-hunting 12 ga. pump.-hunting/defense ar15-defense/plinking .40 cal.-pistol-defense/plinking I can hunt any game and defend my family, home and self with this collection. And some of these can play a dual role.    Next I want to make my collection a little more diverse and task specific. Plus there are a couple of wants in there: .357 and/or .44 revolver-badass a dedicated HD shotgun-defense a lever action-30-30-hunting a lever action .22-huntin/plinking a .22 pistol in the m&p platform-practice  AK47-defense/plinking/badass   Finally for prepping I will buy a second of the following: .22 semiauto and lever action .30-30  12 ga hunting configuration AR15 or AK 47 (I would choose one for ammo storage purposes) .40 cal pistol revolver Plus I would add a couple .22 revolvers.    For prepping I would add spare parts for all the guns listed in that category. But that's a different story.   As you can see it doesn't take much to make me happy.   Well that's my perfect collection. Let's hear yours.
  6. Got this off Steve Gill's FB page. It's a great read. It's almost like Aesop wrote a fable about Detroit.   http://gillreport.com/2013/03/the-ant-the-grasshopper-two-versions/
  7. I tried some mountain hose from Academy. They weren't bad. better than I thought they would have been. Just keep in mind it is freeze dried food so it is what it is. Not as good as fresh but definitely edible.
  8. A box of empties always means a good day!
  9. The UN isn't my favorite orginization. But I seriously doubt they are prowling around in tanks in WV.
  10. Wow...Nice setup. Do they bite?
  11. I feel so bad for that guy losing his brother. Can you imagine what that feels like. The last you ever knew of your brother was his screams as he was being swallowed up by a sink hole. Ver very sad. Lots of prayers for him and his family.
  12. That sounds awesome. I will definitely check into that.
  13. When I saw this story yesterday I grinned a little. I hope Detroit turns around and explodes. But it won't convince any liberals. They will just claim he reaped the benefits of Democrat policies
  14. Well...Katie Perry kissed a girl and liked it. I guess Piers Morgan and these folks shot an assault rifle and liked it.
  15. I def. need to put some film over it. To be honest I forgot. I have an old shower door i may try to use as a lid. It would be awesome to have some glass cases. I tried pests pellets ad even bought the plastic trays with domes. But I got a bag of pro mix for $8 and the egg cartons were free. Besides ....Im the kind of idiot who will spend $100 to build something I could have bought for $10. But I did alright this time. I only had to buy the lights, promix, and 1x10s. Everything else I had lying around. I have about $100 in everything. Real warming pads and the peats pellets and the domes would have cost more. Considering i have 200 plants in there and actually have room for about 100 more. I'm pretty happy with it.
  16. The reason I needed something for the lights to lay on is because for now it is under the kitchen table so I don't have a way to hang them. Once i get my shed set up I'm going to move them out there so I can hang the lights from chains and raise them as the plants grow.
  17. Here it is....I just wrapped some sturofoam insulation board in aluminum foil and taped it with reflectibe tape Next I taped down the rope lights. That is a 24ft rope light. The bed is 21"x48". The runs are about 3-1/2" apart. I also made little sides out of the insulation. and wrapped them in the tape. I don't have a picture of them completely wrapped in the tape but they are. The insulation is 1/4" thick so I had to stack up 3 pieces to get the sides high enough to clear the light. I also made a few little support pieces and taped them down between the runs of lights to support the sheetmetal. Also not pictured but you get the idea. Next I made a 2x4 frame with a 1/4" plywood top. I laid the contraption on top. I spray painted the bottom of the sheet metal black to help with heat absorption. Then I put the sheet metal down over it. Then I screwed through the sheet metal all the way into the wood to hold it all together. I marked and predrilled the holes through the sheet metal so not to hit the light. Next I put 1x10 boards all the way around. I had to use some old tent poles to set the lights on. Turns out 4ft flourescents aren't 4ft. But they are about 3" above the tops of the egg crates. Sorry for the lack of good pics. I wasn't thinking about a how to when i built it. I got the idea of using a rope light on the internet. Pretty much everything else I came up with. The soil temp is about 73 in the middle and about 68 at the ends. Not too bad. Plants pictured: 1st row: left-cabbage, right-broccoli 2nd row: left-bell peppers, right-jalapeno peppers 3rd row: left & right both tomatoes 4th row: left-onions, right-cauliflower.
  18. That is a great vid. I'm a little surprised that that ran in CT.
  19. Very much wow....Those are nice.
  20. That's the problem...He's not the emperor...   http://conservativebyte.com/2013/02/obama-the-problem-is-im-not-the-emperor-of-the-united-states/
  21. I went to the wrong high school!!!
  22. Best I can tell Magpul hasn't backpedaled one little bit. The only claim I've seen from them is they will leave CO if a ban on high cap mags is made law. Correct me if I'm wrong here (I know you will ;))  but I have not seen any claim that they would not sell to LEO in ban states. I just scrolled down their FB page to the beginning of all this and didn't see it on there. Again, I may be wrong. So I'm not seeing the problem. Why not get their money? Think about it like this. If Magpul moves to a 2A friendly state then selling to ban states is a one way revenue flow to the state in which Magpul resides with no return the other way. So a non-2A friendly state would be supporting a 2A friendly state. Poetic justice....
  23. Me, too. It didn't take long for me to get over glock. The M&P is wonderful.
  24. Try Ed's Supply for the A/C unit. That will be your best bet...615-244-2600
  25.   I will post some pics when i get home. I may start another thread and do kind of an instructional.  If it's been relatively warm i will plant last weekend of April. but usually I wait til the first/second weekend of may.
