I have used promags for the BHP and Sig 226. My personal experience that they were junk, and were all eventually junked. However I had a couple for a Sig 225 that never gave me any problems.

I generally hold pro mag in very low regard, especially for hicap mags. However, I did own 2 promags for a Sig 225. They worked flawlessly on the range. I never did get up enough confidence to carry them on the street.

Taurus is a great gun until you have a problem and have to deal with their lack-of-customer-service. Try to get a part in less than 6 months.

Check out my Avitar. After this particular gun failed to work on a number of occasions, the guitar player that owned it had it gold plated and used it as a hood ornament. My son in law bought it at a yard sale for $6.00. He wuz had! -
I hope, one day, to find a candidate I can vote for without holding my nose.

How long until this makes its way into a 'boyz in d'hood' movie? I can see the Bruce Willis with two of these rigs.

My experience with Rafter service has been very good. However, the design leaves something to be desired for large pistols like a 1911. The one I have for a Glock 19 and Smith 3913 are spot on for comfort and concealibility. If the belt slots were just a half inch higher, the design would be O.K. for all steel 1911s. I don't think much of their belts. They are too thick and get soft in a short time. Still, good folks to deal with. By the way, you have a very good looking holster there. Did you consider the option for a sweat shield?

Passengers with HCP and car gets pulled over

Being a licensed driver for over forty years in a number of states, I have never been stopped by the police on the road. Wonder why so many of you have so much experience with police stops? This subject generates as much unfounded BS as limpwristing or "the best.....". Is there a real LEO that would like to chime in? -
If you can hold your groups to a minute of paper plate, you have mastered your gun for defensive purposes.

Fine gun. Third generation (4 digit model #s) are underrated and very reliable. The only issue with this gun is the square v. round trigger guard. If a later round version, holsters are easier to find. Mags are cheap www.cdnninvestments.com

The Norinco 1911A1, when imported, was a crudely finished gun with very hard steel. In light of what's on the market today in that price range, it is indeed a well made gun with all forged and toolsteel parts. It makes a good base for customization. However, as is, with a little bit of polishing on the sear and hammer hooks, it makes a great shooter. The sights are on the small side but usable and the ejection port has been lowered. I have not ever encountered a stainless Nork. If it is indeed stainless, you have a rare bird.

Big hammers, dremmel, bench grinder, propane torch, and a two foot section of railroad track to use for an anvil. couple of vise grips are handy too.

when I get dressed in the morning, I put a J frame or P3AT in my right front pocket. It stays there until I get undressed for bed. If I leave the subdivision, I holster a glock or 1911.

Shooting a wheel gun just came naturally(DA only). Took me 20 years of good practice to shoot a bottom feeder as well.

Go to this link and go down about 14 or 15 videos to see an AA-12 mounted on a remote control helicopter. Think of the fun you could have with that. http://neural-robotics.com/Video/Video.html

Love to have one, but there appears to be no mounting points for hanging fuzzy dice or mounting curb feelers.

In CDNN catalog 2008-1, they are selling 2 for the price of 1. Must not be getting any commercial traction here.

Our 1966 era unit load out SOP was 20 mags of 19 rounds each, four frags, one smoke, a parachute flare or star cluster, one claymore mine, two trip flares, a belt of MG ammo or law. Non ord was either a machete or entrenching tool, poncho, poncho liner, shaving gear, and as many canteens as you could manage, usually three or four. Add two or three days worth of rations. We were resupplied every other day unless contact was made with the enemy. Our missions morphed from one into another without returning to a fixed base. You got out of the field for seven days of out of country r&r and three days of incountry r&r. The rest of the year, you were in the bush.

What weight are the .45s? How much do you want for them? Where are you located?

I doubt that M-882 is even +P. In my Sig 226 over a chronograph, I can't get WCC 00 or WCC 02 to go 1200 fps. Best speed on just one round was 1191 fps. What am I missing? This is the same speed envelope as WW white box.

It is a John Browning design that is a clone of the Browning auto-5. Remington made them under license for several years. It is recoil operated, has a lot of small parts and strong springs and needs to be kept clean. Have someone who is familiar with Browning Auto 5s to show you how to disassemble and clean. Good gun, old design and heavy recoil. Sensitive to loads than you use. Probably best used with stouter hunting loads.

I have a full house custom BHP done up by Mark Graham at Arizona Response Systems. It is top notch with a trigger unheard of on a BP. However I have an STI Trojan in 9mm that runs rings around the trigger on the BP. If I live long enough to shoot the STI better than it can be shot, I will get an STI Rangemaster or have Jerry keiffer build me a target gun on a Les Baer frame and slide. Also, the Smith 952 in the 1,500-1,800 range might just be the most accurate 9mm out there.
