  1. Usually a bit larger. Hard to say in these days.
  2. Should be a good show, at least by todays standards. Hope I can make it. Usually one of, if not the best shows in the area.
  3. Well, let's see. Drive 45 mi. to fairgrounds ( in rain ), pay $5 to park, walk from parking lot to adm booth ( in rain ), stand in line (in rain ), pay $10 adm., walk to bldg.( in rain), check out obscene prices. Return route ( in rain ), not happening.
  4. Powder Valley had some 40s ( bullets ) in stock just now. 150 & 165 gr, Ordered 500 myself. Left some for someone else.
  5. All this kinda reminds me of Oklahoma back in the day. Does the word sooners come to mind?
  6. Not sure how much of that story I want to take to the checkout counter, but 1.6 billion rounds is still just that. Much more than they need at this time. Also, like the last time we went thru this senario, the mfgs. are not likely to add new production lines/employees for what they may perceive as short term. As long as a select few are camping out at the retail counter to grab & hoard the 2 or 3 boxes available that day, we'll be sitting right where we are for a while. JMHO
  7. I'll agree it's annoying to say the least, but it's the nature of the times. If one of us makes it in under the wire, we're one more than we had. Just have to live with the way it is & keep both eyes , ears, & keyboard open. It is a pain in the butt. Fault lies in D.C.
  8. I use Verizon for both. Fell out with Bell South/ATT years ago.
  9. Not to mention, not a lot of people will in this category.
  10. And you trust this government to destroy the records? Their track record on following the law isn't impressive. If it makes you feel better, believe it.
  11. Yet another poll I didn't get to vote in. LOL
  12.    Works for me. That being the case, glad to have you. TN & TGO is a good place to be if  you're a gun nut like the rest of us.
  13.   I'll stand corrected on the map. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Wouldn't be my first. LOL  Not a  trusting soul in this area.
  14.  Just wondering how you came upon TGO, living in Beaver Dams, NY, which isn't listed in the Atlas. Pardon me  from raising an eyebrow, but we have from time to time, folks from NY, visit the forum under less than honorable  intentions, looking for info on gun owners, etc. I'll wait & see.
  15.   OK, thanks, OS. Guess that'll keep me up nights trying to come up with something worthwhile. LOL
  16. I was there this am between 10 & 12. Good crowd. Parking lot full +. Bought an adapter to mount a light on my Mossy 500. David has CCI small pistol primers for $59.99/1000. + others. Also, got to fondle the new Walther PPQ M2. Nice gun. About the only ddifference I could "see", was the button mag release. This is an issue for some who don't like the lever on the trigger guard. Personally, I like my old version PPQ better. Now we have a choice. Saw one Colt AR carbine for $2599. I left no DNA on it. Box of 40's $30. $10 more than Wally World. All in all, good show. Check it out.
  17. Dang sure looks like it. Let us know how it shoots.
  18. Know this topic is a bit old, but just out of curiousity, at what point do the other levels take place?
  19.    Nothing wrong with a Bersa. Good little gun.
  20.  It's Bush's fault!
  21. Miracles still occasionally happen. Scored 3 boxes of 40's to day @ Lebanon Walmart. i was literally in shock! Fed. 180 gr. $18.27/box of 50
  22. Can't imagine that. Be the blunder of the decade if that happened.
  23. I'm not sure some of the dr's at the VA even have a license. Definitely not top of the line at best. I've been dealing with the VA since '68 & i've come across some things that would curl your hair. Totally lost sight of their original misson.
