Fuji Grill in Knoxville is awesome.

The other day I dutifully ensured that my doors were locked. Came back to find I had left the window down. I drive a really crappy looking truck, so more likely I get a bag of groceries set inside than something taken.

It's probably in the instructions, but I will still say it. When you order, DO NOT press the "confirm button" more than once. The web glitched & froze up on me, I repeated, and of course, have a second charge on my CC.

I have not looked through the past posts, but I would also suggesting not only roads & neighborhoods, but adopt a TWRA shooting range. I have hauled truckloads out of Royal Blue several times, yet each time I visit, it needs it again. So.. Adopt a Range!

Building a 300 Blackout?
R_Bert replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Thanks, very familiar with .204 Ruger, this would be my third in that caliber (not hard on bbls., BTW, and good to longer ranges for varmints <I shoot crow & groundhogs to ~550 yds with mine>). However, I am thinking a different platform for my next .204 As related to the TGO lower, definitely interested in mods required for .458 (and 6.8 if any ??), milling of ejection port, mods to mags, etc. I do reload all my center-fires, hence the interest in .458; any excuse will do. Regardless of caliber, it will be all-out as best as I can, and I am patient. .300 Blk does intrigue me. -
Building a 300 Blackout?

This is a great review of considerations for the 300 Blackout Can some of you guys also do a summary for 6.5 Grendell (or is 6.8 Spc a better choice....?) and .458 SOCOM? (At least I have my build narrowed down to 4 calibers now.....204 Ruger, 300 Blackout, 6.5 Grendell. and.458 SOCOMM with .50 Beowolf also in the back of my mind) -
Thug down: motorcycle thief turns into a real-world ballistics test dummy

Having been in that very neighborhood, I am sure the police are not trained for first aid. They did what was required for their job....Bad guy makes the mistake of pulling gun in daylight...smoke him, then call someone to clean up the mess. -
It's more than just shooting. When I am in the Cumberland Mountains, and in particular Royal Blue, I am home. My family started exploring and camping up there in the late '50s. My very earliest memories are in riding with Mom & Dad in a 48 Willy. They loved those mountains, and passed it on to me. Later, he was one of the great men who with Lee Aubury founded CORA, managed the property, put their names on a lease (eventually ~70000 acres) and later passed the land on to the state of TN &TWRA. TN later added the Sundquist unit and you know the area as the North Cumberland WMA . So, I guess that the answer is "its a family thing". As for the trash, I am just doing what I do.

Turns out I recognized that intersection in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Been through it a number of times during work trips. -
Thinking about starting to reload

And the more you ignore it, the cheaper it becomes. -
AKA D!CK I spent some time up at the Royal Blue range today. As usual, I chose a range and removed a depressing amount of trash (a 40 gallon can overflowing & a pile of cardboard & plywood). That I don't really mind so much. Children will be children. What REALLY pisses me off is A$$holz using liquor bottles as targets and leaving the bottom remains in the walk path for someone to impale themselves like stepping on a Punji Stick. Some cretin left behind several of those on the 50 yd range in recent days. D!CK!!!

Hornady 22 cal. Soft point bullets for .223?
R_Bert replied to jeff43's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
The Midway Dogtowns are a excellent value. I use them in .223 & .204 in several weights & styles. They are very consistent weight and uniform shape. -
BTW, Bigfoot (well, a skunk-ape) was in there. He's gone now.

I see plenty of imagination, and a bit of delusion.
