Oh, isn't that the Georgia guy with the fake Russian accent?  I love that gun, Dove would stand a chance.  Back at my brothers place in New Mexico they have Eurasian collard dove and we can shoot as many as we want.  Those Dove are invasive and the game and fish said kill them all.  Usually they are thick as flies and we've shot thousands and thousands of them.  I've not shot on the second day of dove season because I was too sore to shoulder a shotgun.       

    I think this is the route I'll go as soon as they  get them back in stock..   Thank you for the suggestions!    Tw

That's a real nice setup but I don't want another rail. After shooting one of my guns without a rail all day my hand isn't as worn out as when I shoot a railed gun a bunch. I guess there isn't much call for lights or light mounts for our M4's. Nobody shoots these at night? lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I can't really find an easy/good light solution for my M4. I was hoping for something as easy as the fore end light like the 870 Surefire light. What have you guys found or used you like on the M4? Not crazy about Surefires fore end for the M4 :-( Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    I wonder just what torque will feel like in this new design?  I love the V designed motor torque that we have come to know over the years.  Loads of torque and it feels like it's going to roll when you stomp on it..  lol

Years ago, CBS had a popular little series called "Gilligan's Island". There is, however, a dark secret about this "comedy" you may never have realized. The island is a direct representation of Hell. Nobody on the island wants to be there, yet none are able to leave. Each one of the characters represents one of the 7 deadly sins: Ginger represents LUST - she wears skimpy outfits, is obsessed with her looks, and is a borderline nymphomaniac. Mary Ann represents ENVY - she is jealous of Ginger's beauty. The Professor represents PRIDE - he is an annoying know-it-all. Mr. Howell represents GREED - no explanation needed. Mrs. Howell represents SLOTH - she has never lifted a finger to help on any of their escape plans. The Skipper represents two sins: GLUTTONY - again, no explanation needed and ANGER - he violently hits Gilligan on each show. This leaves Gilligan. Gilligan is the person who put them there. He prevents them from leaving by foiling all of their escape plots. Also, it is HIS island. Therefore, Gilligan is SATAN. Crazy? He does wear red in every episode.

    No please don't think that.  I am not an expert but I have sat in the seat for a while.  The kid that authored that article has flying experience but not jet airliner experience. 

Fire = Bad   Fire at altitude = real bad..

hardknox,  I am not frustrated with you, I get frustrated with pilots without airline experience writing as if they know what they are talking about.    There isn't anybody that has ever flown an airliner trained to go to high altitude to put out a fire.  An airplane is made of aluminum.  Fire and aluminum don't mix well.  I have always been trained IF you ever encounter fire in the aircraft you get the mo fo ON THE GROUND, even a road if you have to.  If the Wing Separation light comes on you no longer have a flying machine..  (There really isn't a Wing Separation light)   The author is not a commercial airline pilot.    Also, that pilot says things like,  "I instinctively knew".  No he doesn't, I sure don't and I sit in an airliner for 800 hours a year, every year for the past 26.    I hate when internet experts that write as if they were sitting there...

    I have no idea how much fuel they left with but in my 17 years flying the 737 I have NEVER taken off with full fuel. So max range could be a moot point.  Their range is going to be based on their fuel load at take off and I doubt, but maybe it was topped off with fuel.

Mine is how I feel some days.  Like when I get to see my wife for more than just a few days!  Or when I am on vacation! 

Take offs are normally calculated for what they call a balanced field take off.  Balanced field take off. <---- I'm short on time or I would have typed that in my language.  We don't always want to take off at full power because it is much harder on the jet engines and when they engines are stressed at T/O power if they are going to fail, that is where it is more likely to happen, at the power reduction after full or very high power take offs. Rotate, V1 and V2 speeds are calculated on runway length, outside air temp, barometric pressure, altitude, wind and weight of the aircraft at take off.
