    World Series

There are easily three to five minutes of excitement in every baseball game, the trick is waiting for them.

    World Series

We also don't have cable, so that also may have something to do with my enjoyment of watching the series.
  3. I rarely watch a baseball game, until it is the world series, then I try to watch every game. I have heard that a baseball game is three minutes of excitement squeezed into three hours, but there is just something about it I enjoy. I am for the Royals. Am I the only one watching?

    Shoehorn

There is not a shoehorn in my house. I suppose I shall have to wear my shirt untucked.
  5. The most difficult part would be finding thirty men you could trust.
  6. That was an excellent match. I really enjoyed it. Well designed stages with just the right amount of goofy props.
  7. I bought one these today. It seems like the "GRIPZONE" was designed around my hand. It feels awesome. Fiber optic front sight is awesome. Plus, two more free mags and stuff with their current promotion. Unfortunately, it will probably be a week or two until I can shoot it, but it looks good just sitting in the safe. I should use the word "awesome" one more time. Right under 530$ OTD at Royal Range. This is my fourth Springfield pistol, so I am definitely a fanboy. This might replace my xd9 sc as my main carry.
  8. Look at how many have opened up in the past few years. Royal Range, Nashville Armory, Everything Weapons, I think there is probably one or two more. I know Guns for America closed, as well as that gun store that was in Rivergate. This is totally based on my perception, but it seems like the market is getting better with more options than it was a few years ago.
  9. My thoughts(worth at least twice what you are paying for them): I have watched a couple episodes of that "Doomsday Preppers" show and what bugs me is people think they know the exact disaster that is going to happen. The scenario laid out in this thread is entirely possible, but so is a natural disaster, so is some sort of illness/epidemic. Preparing is important. I put zero energy into trying to predict the future.
  10. Accidental discharge or negligent discharge?
  11. Thanks, did I missspell anything?
  12. First, are the buffer spring and buffer any different between milspec and commercial, or just the tube? Second, I might want to switch some buffer tubes between some of my rifles to move the stocks around commercial/milspec etc. The commercial size tube is on a dpms that I have had for years and shot several thousand rounds through. The milspec is on a psa that I just put together with 200ish rounds through it. If I can, should I just switch the buffer tubes and keep the spring and buffer with it's original rifle, or does it even matter? Both rifles function flawlessly, so if I have a problem, I can undo it, but asking questions here usually saves alot of headaches. Thanks, Brooks
  13. This is a budget build plain Jane rifle. I am going to keep iron sights.
  14. I have the gen 1 and I love it. No complaints. I swear I shoot it as well as my XDM 5.25. I have a cross breed IWB. Very good carry package. Of course, mine doesn't have the "GRIP ZONE" which is worth like 100$ right there.
  15. So, apparently there are two different type of retainer caps that go on the front gas block to hold the front of the handguard:round and triangular. Fortunately, I learned this before I ordered the mid length SL magpul handguard. But I learned it after I bought the SL stock, pistol grip, and mid length upper receiver(triangular cap). I really liked the look of the SL handguard, but, unless I change the retainer cap, I am simply out of luck. The MOE is alright... Rant concluded.
