I just read online that Springfield is making the range officer in 9mm with a rail. That just jumped to the top of my list.

This movie is exactly what I hoped: ridiculously extravagant special effects and crazy vehicles and even a guitar player swinging off the front of Bigfoot on steroids with a guitar that shoots flames. Very little talking or plot, just action and fighting and explosions. And yes, I am a lightweight.

I finally got around to getting this movie from the redbox. I am about to watch it. I hope I am not disappointed, but I will know in about two hours and four beers.

Every month, I fixate on a different firearm. Last month, it was an AK with magpul trim, but that desire went unfulfilled and has now passed. This month it is a 9mm shield with no manual safety. My main carry gun is a xd subcompact in 9mm. I would like to try a singlestack, merely for comfort/ease of carry. Thoughts or suggestions?

I am pretty sure I saw one at the royal range the other day. I have become quite interested in the shield. This model did have the manual safety, which I desire to stay away from.

I have a little ammo stashed away in 2 gallon buckets with the snap on lids. I make sure the lid has an o-ring(some don't), put a couple dessicant packs in there, and smack the lid on with a mallet. I think this is great long term storage.

Ok, I hope this story makes sense: I used to be a self-employed service and repair plumber. No employees, just a one man shop, no advertising, just growing by word of mouth. At least twice, I went to newly referred customers houses to fix something and they told me "we had a plumber out six months ago to fix this, but they didn't fix it right, and quit working after they left". Both times, I asked them if they called the plumber to complain, both said no. This scared me to death. I was a pretty good plumber, but not perfect. I would want to know if something I thought I fixed wasn't fixed. If I had employees, I would want to know they were not getting the job done.

Royal Range is my favorite gun store right now. I think their prices are excellent. I have bought a pistol, three stripped lowers, and a bunch of other stuff from them since they opened. I think it is a great store.

Kroger has little tubes of athletes foot medicine for 2$. I have bought a few extra of those.

PSA has 1000 rounds for 199.99$ with free shipping. "Hotshot" brand, or century brand. 124 grain. That is the cheapest I have seen in a while, I know nothing of the ammo quality.
