I bought this with the intent of building a M1 Carbine but it hasn't really moved forward due to other projects. Barrel assembly and the receiver are in great condition for being as old as it is.

Great optics plate if you want an optic but you don't want to send you slide in to get cut or you don't have a optics ready slide. This was on my G23 Gen 3 with a RMR. Just remove the rear sight and replace with this plate. $20 if you are interested.
