I don't understand the "can't shoot them" mentality.

it is a gun, nothing more. Would you buy a washer and dryer and not clean your clothes? A pick up truck and not haul some mulch? A quad and not take it out on a trail?

I know, I know Mike. I kick that around myself. But My washer, truck, or quad isn't 1 of 1500 made. That's the reason why I am torn so bad. If it were just another gun, like all my other guns, I'd shoot the heck out of it. I have had exotic cars and I drove them but there were about 10,000 of them on the road. It must be the "1500" number that has me not wanting to shoot them. :koolaid:

Your not crazy at all. Your Sig Special edition set is very cool looking. Even the case is sweet.

Remember some people do buy guns just to collect them and nothing is wrong with that.

Just hang on to that set and buy you another Sig rifle to shoot with. :koolaid:

I'd shoot them, they are sweet guns, however it's not like they are ever going to double in value. Congrats !!!!!!!

That is the million dollar(just for emphasis purposes only) statement. I am afraid they won't "appreciate" much more than any other gun. :koolaid:

Thank you very much.

ooh, 1 of 1500? That's a toughie.

But what are you going to do? Sell it years on down the road? When you sell it, won't you have seller's remorse for selling a gun you never shot?

Have you cleaned it yet, or was it spotless when you got it?

I took it out of the Pelican case to put it in the safe and that's it.

It was spotless except with the Sig oil on it for shipping.

Well personally I think you should shoot 1500 rounds though each one then put them back in the box so you can tell everyone that they're 1 of 1500 with 1500 through each 1! :koolaid::D
