Anyone here running a Dead Air Sandman X suppressor?

I am curious to know if anyone here is running a Dead AIr Sandman-X suppressor and, if so, what your experiecnce with it has been like and whether you would do it again if you had the choice.

This suppressor is a top candidate for my 7.5-inch 300BLK PDW.  It came highly recommended and all of the videos I've watched on YouTube support the recommendation.  But it's always nice to hear from "real people" who own one, so don't be bashful.

I know that's not what you asked, but they make good suppressors.

Update:  Ordered my Sandman-X on an NFA trust.  I understand that they are running about 14-days to process, so maybe I'll have it before the month ends.  Guess we'll see.

Watching I wanted to know how quiet there are and how hard is it to clean. Also how often do you clean it

Update:

• Form 4 submitted to the ATF on Wednesday 5/21/25.
• Form 4 approved and tax stamp received on Wednesday 5/28/25.

 

Consider also that we had the Memorial Day holiday in between, so we're really only talking about a 5-day turnaround for a purchase on an NFA trust.

I really hope that these fall off of the NFA so that they become same-day purchases, but this was a blazingly fast turnaround and I have no complaints other than that they shouldn't be regulated like this.

How much was cost of obtaining a suppressor and Government forms or license.

SilencerShop.com and pick out whatever suppressor you want.  Add $200 to it for the cost of the tax stamp and $25 for their Single Shot Trust.
