Bart Gordon was one of the blue dog democrats who were holding out for a better health care reform bill. He is now one of the four to give in simply because they call it a "coop" instead of public option and have saved 100 billion in the trillion plus bill. Please write him and let him know how you feel about it and how this will affect your vote for him in the future. Thanks.

I wrote him this

I have been here for about 18 years. You and I have agreed on a lot of things, but with you turning away from what the people want and going with this health care plan is hard for me to understand. You know it will be very bad for this country and will not work so why turn against the people you represent and vote for this?

We can't interfere with the private insurers' right to cherry-pick, charge exhorbitant premiums and drop policy holders when they get sick. Wouldn't that be horrible!

As a real-estate investor I love all those bankruptcies resulting from healthcare costs--when those sorry bastards lose their homes I get to pick 'em up at bargain basement prices. Praise the Lord.

I'm not in his district, but I have relative who are. I'll pass the word to them to contact him. I'll write him anyway and let him know how I feel.

The majority of Americans are not on-board with this crap, and these elected people need to know that this one issue WILL cost them votes and possibly, their job.

And the gov isn't cherry picking, by determining that if your illness costs more than $49,000, you're denied treatment? Premiums are what they are because of all the people that won't pay their bills. I do agree that policy holders should not be dropped because of illness. That ain't right.

Nice to see you back, assbag! :dirty:

Just wait until the government takes over real-estate investing so that no one will ever loose their house again. Share the wealth, right?

I'm shocked... shocked I say. Who'd have thought a Democrat of any color would support his party over the concerns of his constituents? <sacasm mode off>
