Anyone going to the Jack Daniels BBQ Championship this weekend?

Just wondering if anyone else is going down to Lynchburg on Saturday to the BBQ championships? I usually go every year and eat at the Squire tent. Hope to see some other TGO Squires down there.

Hoseltons gun store - new pistol range about 15 from Lynchburg. Hero Gear not that far from that. As far as the 7 year olds we used to own an indoor inflatable place here in tullahoma. the people that bought are pretty good people. called the bounce barn

I'm thinking of heading up from Huntsville. For those of you who have been in the past, how early should I get there to secure a good parking spot and tour the distillery before it gets too crowded? Also, can you sample any Q from the teams who are cooking? I;ve read some reviews that said the only food available was from overpriced vendors that were lacking in the taste department.

I was there yesterday and walked around checking out the set-ups. I can't see where anyone is going to park today. I'll be back for sure.

I just got back. Had a great time and ate some good food. Did the Distillery tour as usual and checked out the Squire "tent". Got a few new JD bottles and a decanter to add to the collection. I thought I saw Verne waiting in the line to get into the Squire event but I was in a hurry to make it on our tour so I couldnt say hi. Hope you guys had as good of time and me and mine did.

I was standing inline up till a little after 9 and got hungry so went down town. Came back around noon and hungout awhile but never saw anyone.

Yea that was you. We did the distillery tour first then the Squire thing. Then went downtown.

Got home around 6:00. had a great time..Ate a slab of ribs....uuummmm.Rode the Venture over there. Got in 190 miles today. Great day.
