Howdy Y'all.

I just happened across this forum and thought I'd give it a try. Seems lke a nice place.

My first name is Donnie and I've been an avid shooter/collector for the better part of my 56 years. I just got into milsurps a couple of years ago and have gathered several into my modest collection. I also collect older model .22 target rifles and pick up the occasional pistol.

I'm a member of the NRA, GOA, and the Tennessee Sportsmans Foundation.

Ditto Welcome. But it isn't really that bad here-- we Memphomaniacs have a higher probability of getting carjacked, raped, robbed, or burglarized than getting murdered.

SUNTZU, I'm willing to expound on my meagre store of milsurpin knowledge. If I don't know it, then I have lots of friends that are a lot more savvy on these than me. I want to finish out my Mauser collection by getting one representative example from every country that ever made a military mauser. Out of the 39 countries, I have 12.

molonlabetn, Sorry, I don't know the Captain. I picked up the crunch moniker back when I was into online gaming and I've used it or a variation ever since.

However, I'd be happy to meet the gentleman, or any member here:cool:
