I use to play all the time until I screwed my knee up last year. For a long time I couldn't run much, so then I got lazy and put on 40lbs. The knee is all better, but I'm still currently trying to fix the lazy part.

My bunch played woodsball. I've never played on any of the courses in the area. The EBR in the pic is currently the only paintball gun I have left.

Yeah, with a brace mine isn't as bad, I just have to get myself back in shape like I was before all that. Heck I'd probably have a heart attack if I went right now and played the way we always did before.

I just realized I'm a long way away from you guys though, so sad to say I can't be an easy target for ya. :biglol:

I used to play quit a bit. I worked for smoky mtn paintball park before it closed. I still have my guns if they still work. I got out of it after they closed, it was to hard to get air.

I've thought about airsoft before, especially since it would be alot cheaper than what I've spent on paintball over the years. The main reason that airsoft could never work for my bunch is that they aren't exactly the most honest group of people. If they get hit and the paintball doesn't bust, even if there's two or three hits that don't bust, they will not admit to getting hit. I've even seen them brush the paint off if there's not much splattered on them, and keep playing like they were never hit. With this in mind, no one would ever get shot out of one of our games if we were using airsoft guns except for the couple of honest guys there.

I used to play Airsoft, it was fun. I haven't done anything Paintball wise other than a few informal games when I was younger.

I have several co-workers interested in playing Paintball, and we have been trying to find a place, but we don't have any equipment.

I just sold all of my paintball gear because I didn't have anyone to play with....then I saw this thread...sound like my luck...

but I still have a 20oz CO2 tank that someone can have for free if they want it. It's rehydrotest date is expired so I can't get it filled back up. But if someone has their own tank at home then they could still use it.

it still holds air and is currently full. Free to a good home if you pay shipping.

So, if we gather all of the paintball players and give 'em airsoft guns, we could have the most badass game of all time... :)

Whenever I played paintball, we played 5 days a week, grant it, most of the time it was running and shooting drills, bunker drills, 3 v 1 drills and stuff, anyways, we got some guys at the local PD that played airsoft to come ask us to play with them one Sunday, they said they had extra guns and everything so we went. We played tournament paintball, super fast pace, bunker, running and gunning paintball... We got up there to play these guys and we played us v them, obviously. Well, we were used to running around playing and stuff, they weren't. They would sit behind the bunkers and do the hand motions and slowly move up and cover each other and stuff like that. We just played like we always do and ran around and bunkered and yelled where they were and stuff... We played for about 4 hours... They won 1 game... They never asked us to come back... :stir::P

I used to play back when it was called "The survival game". 10 shot bolt action pistols powered by co2 cartridges, and shooting oil-base paintballs. We were converting our guns to pump action with a piece of pvc pipe and making high capacity loaders out of 3/4" copper pipe. In the early days if you knew anything about shooting is was a great advantage since most of the people playing didn't.
