John is a much better jounalist than the so-called journalists. Sure, he leans left a lot of times. Even when he does, he makes his points a lot better than the hacks on CNN or Fox.

Yes, I expected to hear it from you. I know you like all kinds of Obama bashin' :lol:. In this case, he REALLY deserved it.

I liked Craig Kilborn better because of Stewarts politics, but Stewart is funny. If there

were any journalists left out there to compare to I might agree with you on that. I don't see any journalists anymore. All I see are opinion speakers and policy wonks and that's a difficult field to look at.

A lot of people rely on the Daily Show for their news. That's telling all by itself.

Disappointing.

I don't rely on it, but I appreciate the investigative stuff on occaision.

Sadly, there are a lot of people who rely solely on MSNBC.

Sadly, there are those who rely solely on the "National news" programs of 30 minutes length...

And sadly, there are those who rely on the Comedy Channel for news...

Sigh.

Effectively, there is no plan, as this hasn't happened before, and all the kings horses, and all the kings men cannot put it back together again...

Yeech. Now I am quoting children's rhymes... I need some sleep...

Ironically that "childrens rhyme" was a major political statement of it's day and actually applies today. Sad
