Just stand within 4' of HogNut for about 13 minutes, and by his sheer osmotic transfer of molecular-level bad-a$$ery, you'll be plenty qualified for national IDPA competitions.

I just made eye contact with him in a gas station parking lot one Thursday afternoon, and I've been shooting 1/2" MOA's since.

Thanks Bronker. Is your nose growing now?

There will be several new shooters for the classifier on 09/04. This style of match is the most basic match within IDPA but still difficult. It will allow you to shoot strong, weak, and freesytle. A lot people do not practice shooting this way but in some events it is necessary. Please look over a Getting Starting with IDPA package. However to break it down quicker, for equipment needs: Serviceable weapon, strong side holster, 3 magazines, magazine holders. The most important thing is: SAFETY. If you need some equipment, let me know and I will make arrangements for it to be there if I do not already have it.

Hope you will be able to make it to the range!

Probably not.:ugh:

It's kind of like the doctors that graduate with a "C" grade average. They graduate by the skin of their teeth...but in the end...they are still doctors!

(Hog...Love ya! Mean it!)

I need to quit dragging ass and do one of these competitions one day. How much ammo should I expect to go through?

90 rounds minimum per classifier. If you have a bad stage, the classifier does allow you to re-shoot that one stage only. If this happens then more than 90 rounds will be needed.

FYI

I just took all of my stock parts out of the G34 and have been down stairs putting my comp parts back in it. I have been dry firing it most of the day. Worked on the G17 with some polishing and grinding. M&P with polishing and sanding and new sights. Decisions.....decisions.

It is ON like Donkey Kong, RWF!!!!!!!

The voices in my head (Kemp) told me to do it. With your bad arm someone has to pick up the slack.

You could but why would you? I believe your trigger on the M&P is not factory. Why not come out and use the duty G22? It has been awhile since you had been to the range.

Most people are probably scared away because they do not know what a HOGNUT is or they are afraid to find out. Just a thought.

+1, this. :)

Seriously, wish I could make it this weekend, looks like it'll be a great day to shoot considering the weather and all the hard work you guys have put into the range (much appreciated BTW).

I'll be visiting some family in MA or I'd make it, and even though I'll be less than 5 miles from S&W HQ and was looking forward to checking out their performance center range, my firearms will have to stay in TN, maybe I'll be able to rent a 1stGen 10rd Glock with a 12lb trigger...

Where is all of this aggression coming from? Its coming in from all directions. Feels like mortar shells around me!!!!!

Don't be a drama queen, HOG. Just let your customized 34 do the talking and maybe you can finally make it up to SharpShooter in ESP... :D
