95 year old woman ordered to remove adult diaper during TSA search

Recommended Posts

Just out of curiousity, I wonder how many women have been asked to step into another room and remove their burqas. I wonder how many people have been asked to remove their turbans so they can be searched thoroughly. I would be willing to bet that this rarely happens if it even happens at all. Why hell...we can't do that. I mean...that is insensitive and it is racial profiling. However, we have pay extra attention to those senior citizens and young children because of the enormous threat they pose. :screwy:

What is happening with the TSA is sheer lunacy and political correctness run amuck. Even though I have nothing but contempt for the way TSA operates, what enrages me more is all of the weak-kneed politicians who will not stand up to this administration and declare that enough is enough. The TSA needs to be abolished completely, and all security matters should be handled by the airline and any private security firms of their choosing.

With the way the federal government handles things, God forbid if a terrorist is ever successful in discharging a bomb that he had shoved up his butt. If that happened, TSA would have all of us strip, squat, and cough before being allowed on a plane.

At least Police Officers have to answer for their actions; TSA answers to no one.

The only way to stop this is a boycott of the airlines. If the airlines (even though it isn’t their fault) are damaged financially congress will step in. The President and the AG don’t have the nut sack or the desire to rein in these animals.

Sari Koshetz, a spokeswoman for the Transportation Security Administration in Miami, said she could not comment on specific cases to protect the privacy of those involved.

We wouldn’t stand for that from any other agency acting openly in the public; why should we accept it from the TSA?

If that same crap was done on the streets of Memphis in the hood by Memphis Police, Jesse Jackson would be having the Million Man March down Union. Others would be tearing up the rest of Memphis making it look like Rodney King/LA Watts.

This trash shouldn't last this long with no answer by metal detector screeners treating our citizens like prison inmates. How do they get away with it but jail birds are protected and their guards have to answer for their mistakes? Something is really messed up with this little airport insecurity system and how our government is treating our people. When I remember getting treated with extreme courtesy by the Mexican Customs Police (where I had absolutely no rights as a foreigner, at customs, and in Mexico where they have road checks!) and a little bag check going in their country, why is this junk going on inter and sometimes in-state travel? We must pressure the feds to end this silliness because it has gotten way out of hand.
