Just as I thought. I went to this auction and didn't buy anything. A Winchester model 9422 went for $800. A used Colt Python .357 went for $1650. A Ruger single six .22 and .22 mag went for $500. New it is only $400. An S & W model 37 airweight .38 went for $900. I can get that one new in box for $500. And a Ruger LCP .380 went for $385. You can pick them up all day for $300. Yes, people have more money that brains...

None of the carbines was all original. The Postal Meter was a true mixmaster with an aftermarket barrel. The Para GM stock looked like it may have been an aged aftermarket stock. It just didn't ring true to me. As said above, the prices realized were pretty absurd. I walked away without anything except a bit more sun tan.

I think the para stock was carved from a piece of fire wood!
