I'll admit I was tempted, I looked, but at 35 cents a round with shipping...just can't do it.  I'm a man of principles.  At some point people have to just say no to these prices.  I don't think we're even close to reaching that point though.

I agree but we are never going to see $200 cases of 7.62x39 (or .223) ammo again.  The Ruskies raised their prices.

ill agree its still a little high, but ill take what i can get right now. That price is a whole lot better than gunbroker or armslist prices right now

Reason #12 to start reloading.  Where'd you hear that?

AIM Surplus' forum on ARFCOM.  They are one of the few vendors who are not raping people when stock comes in.  I don't recall them saying it was a 25% increase but any increase compounds through the supply chain.

That's pretty much how I felt about it. Had I wanted/needed 1000 rounds, then I likely would have got a case. I only wanted a little and the per round price was above my current threshold.

I still have two and a half cases of Wolf lacquered I bought from cabelas for $.10 a round. Anyone wanting x39 this late in the game is screwed as far as prices are concerned.
