My AR

Recommended Posts

Not only are the Hogues cushy, they are hands down the best when your hands are wet, sweaty, or bloody and they are about 1/3rd the price of some of the other popular models.  I usually try to pick one up everytime Midway has them on sale for $14.

I have always liked the beavertail on the Magpul grips. Looks like Hogue came out with one of those recently...

That extra distance it backs your firing hand off messes me up.  I tried it with the HK G3 style grips when they first came out, and it screwed with me constantly when manipulating the selector.  When you manipulate that selecter a few hundred times a day, you really build up a muscle memory that is nearly painful to undo, and that beavertail makes it like nails on a chalkboard.  I still have A2 style grips on all my ARs..... I'm so institutionalized, I know.

Thanks. I can't wait to get out and shoot it. Weather needs to clear up so I can check out the magnifier.

Looks like you "done good". I notice you're using the Hogue grip. I'm a fan of the MOE grip, but I love the Hogue. I have 3 of them.

I got two hogues on my cqb and long range. Just tried a magpul on a 7.5" pistol and love it! I may switch now
