Any auto body people on here?

Recommended Posts

We had an accident in our driveway on Saturday. My wife ment to pop my hood and instead hit the emergency brake and rolled my truck into her classic 79 Bronco. Come to find out insurance will not pay because they both belong to us. Ain't that some BS. I'm trying to find someone that can work on it and likes and knows classic trucks. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

First, if you have collision coverage on your policy, call the insurance company back. It should be covered.

Second, get a new insurance company.

Third, i don't know if they handle much in the way of classics, but Tom Bannen in Madison has a really good body shop. They work on non-GM stuff too.

If you've got collision at the least and definitely if you've got comprehensive, it should be covered.

I do know a guy who could handle the work, but he's here in Maryville.  I'm sure there's someone near you that can fix it.

Yea guys I thought the same. I've been over the small print geico has a clause that they will not cover damage to another vehicle or property if owned by you. Trust me I read it and called numerous times. House insurance is claiming its not on them either.

I have farm bureau, when my wife backed into my truck, the deductible was less than if she had hit someone else sin e we owned both vehicles and were on the same policy.
