Can anyone answer this about Florida Carry?

Recommended Posts

I'm headed to Florida in a couple of weeks.  I was looking over the where you can and can't carry list of places.   I came across "Any portion of an establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption* and wondered if anyone can confirm how i am reading this.  I am reading this as going to some place like Outback and I can't carry in the bar area but I can sit in the general seating area.  Can anyone confirm this?

You read it right. In fact, you can even imbibe as long as you aren't in a bar or the bar area and you don't get drunk.

Elliot is correct. Don't enter the bar portion of the restaurant and you're fine.\

Also-no open carry and the "no guns allowed" signs don't mean squat. You can legally carry past them but If they find out and ask you to leave then you must go.
