Stag Grips from Grasshorn Gunworks.......very pleased

I bought a pair of Stag grips for my Ruger Redhawk 45 colt off of an individual that was made by Grasshorn. Got them in and loved them. Contacted him and asked if he could make a pair for my Security Six that had similar bark. Got them in and WOW. Fit and quality are top notch. The bark is perfect and best of all he works quick.

Here is big brother and little brother. (Redhawk 45 colt and Security Six 357).

Might as well get a family pic with cousins Vaquero (45 colt and 357). Wearing Maple grips from Private Schultz and Holley grips from Tim Perkins

Nice looking stuff! I've bought a couple pair from Patrick, and have been very pleased as well.

These look like ivory in the picture above. I really like those, and don't guess I've ever seen any like them.

They are wonderful, I think they may actually be spelled Holly instead of Holley, but anyway. Very close to ivory in looks and all wood. I wanted ivory, but couldn't afford it. I just couldn't bring myself to put plastic grips or imitation ivory, even though I am sure they are high quality. I wanted natural. Holly is perfect. Should age just like ivory too Edited by Tennjed

Patrick has done a couple of grips for me.  I always ask him for little to no bark.

Here is some of his work on my S&W 38-44 Heavy Duty.

I actually have a set of 1911 panels that he did for me with vintage Colt medallions that I will someday built a custom retro 1911 around.

I was really wantin' to get some real stag grips to replace the ones that my idiot mother broke on my grandfather's Colt buntline Scout .22 that he won in a pistol shootin' contest back in 1968 (I think) but dang sho' didn't wanna pay $250 for'm, so I went with the molded "stag like" grips with the gold Colt medallion, for now. Still looks good but not like the original. If ya don't mind me askin'....how much?
