Why Yoko Ono Sucks

Recommended Posts

I think chuck berry was as significant a lyricist as bob dylan, but hardly anyone was as prolific as dylan. Lieber and Stoller were real strong on lyrics and hooks (all those great witty coasters songs).

Beatles were real good but I'm burned out on them. Except for occasionally hearing a beatles song, I'm not too eager to play a bunch of beatles. Not as much aversion as to elvis though.

Speaking of influences, I think you could hear more pop songs that sound like the everly bros, than songs that sound like the beatles. Then there is roy orbison who also cut a wide swath.

I'd even venture to guess that you can EASILY find lots more successful artists that sound like the byrds, than the beatles.

It's really hard to put into words how hard she sucks. Her performances resemble someone having an orgasm and diarrhea at the same time with the exception that both of those offer some form of relief/release. Watching Yoko "perform" should be outlawed by the Geneva Conventions.
