NRA Defensive PIstol Course

Recommended Posts

anyone have any feedback on this?

how does this course stack up against some of the Suarez courses taught by Randy.  Or maybe some of the courses previously taught at Coal Creek (or now the new TAC)

They are offering this at Pellissippi State Comm College over the summer and was not sure about it.

Depends on how the class costs.  Looking over the course description for the class, it looks like only a 4-5 hour class, and you are told to bring about 200rds of ammo.  Two places that are offering it (not local) were charging $200 and $250 for the class.  Honestly, the NRA course does not look all that impressive, and seems expensive for what you get.  Still, it is better than no training at all.  So, go for it if it is convenient and in your budget.

IMHO, one of the 2-day classes from Suarez or Tactical Response would be a better option,
