Plus one for Charlie's range...

Recommended Posts

Had a very pleasant experience the other day at CHMR( formerly owl hollow). Buddy of mine got a new to him .270 and wanted to sight it in. Mounted the scope and off we went. Long story short, we tried our version of bore sighting and still couldn't hit the paper after one box of ammo. Asked for some help and Charlie sat down, pulled the bolt, made four minutes worth of scope adjustments and had my buddy's first round within 1.5" at fifty yards!!! All without firing a shot. I love learning lessons like that and also yet another reason to not be afraid of asking or help. Just thought I'd share...

He is one of THE nicest gentlemen the state of TN has to offer.

Yep. I haven't been there in a while but I never recall a time that he didn't say in passing, "I trust you're having a good day", with a genuine smile on his face.

Charlie is a true American original. One of the nicest folks I've ever met and without fail will ask after my family and how they're doing. He's also a hell of a shot and a wealth of information regarding all things shooting that he has been very free with.

You won't find a more likable proprietor for just about any kind of business.
